2/1/23: Updated review. Thanks entirely to Eva and her team, not the claims assessors, my claim was reassessed and I was paid an incremental amount, which I consider entirely fair. While I wish that had happened initially, I am very appreciative for the care and attention from Eva and her team. The 5 stars reflects my rating of the agent, not the assessor; I would strongly recommend Eva and her agency. Initial review: This is not a reflection on Eva or her team, though it will show up as such. They tried their best and Eva was very responsive. This has to do with an insurance claim. A tree fell on my house, caused extensive damage to the roof, my HVAC system, my garage, etc. The State Farm assessment dramatically underestimated the cost, despite my sending them estimates of the actual costs I would incur. The person handling the claim was unresponsive, adding to what was already a stressful event. Prior to this, I had always believed State Farm were good when it came to handling claims and helping their clients. That is simply not true in my case. I would not recommend anyone use them for home insurance.
