Why not negative star on google review? Do not apply for a home mortgage from East West Bank. They overcharged an additional fee on my loan without a valid reason after two months. When I contacted them about this problem, they told me that it was a decision from the system and changed my monthly loan amount. The employee on the phone was unprofessional and lacked knowledge about loan questions. I don't want more people to suffer because of this bank. Be careful with East West Bank.

Very unprofessional. Can't not explain why my check can't be deposited just request the endorsers person living in Phoenix come to this branch to proof the endorsement was by the right person. Ridiculous. I later went to Chase bank and Chase explained very well not the endorsement problem

I would give zero stars if I could. My family opened an account with East West bank ( We deposited $5000 on Dec 17, 2021, via a check from JP Morgan Chase. On Jan 3rd, 2022, East West bank decided to close our account, without providing any reason. They said the $5000 deposited to East West Bank will be credited back to Chase. On May 6, 2022, our East West Bank account was closed, and the account activity shows that $5000 has been withdrawn. However, our Chase account never received the $5000. I called Chase, and they explained that this check was never received, and advised me to let East West Bank issue me another check. I then called East West Bank, and they said that the check has been mailed out, and it was not possible to mail another check. This time, East West Bank told me the routing and account number of the check. So I called Chase again, telling them the routing and account number, but Chase was not able to locate this check. I even escalated with Chase and spoke with a supervisor, who was not able to locate this check either, and told me that East West Bank needs to issue a new check - the same thing I was told before! I gave one last call to East West Bank and asked to speak with a manager. The manager said they are not able to provide further information, and said that "further actions will be in vain". I have voice recordings of this conversation and can provide them upon request. I respectfully request you to take a look into this issue.

The branch is Not well managed at all . I have to wait for over 30 min to make one deposit . Many cashiers in the branch , but only one or two serving customers . The waiting line is long, no one seems to care .....
