Nice library for studying and browsing books. Lots of pockets of desks, and I appreciate that the desk space was generous enough for me to spread out my plentiful study supplies. Great large parking lot. Upstairs women's bathroom is a bit cramped but the downstairs one is lots bigger. The library has amazing designated spaces for teens and children.

This is a very good library, worth a visit even if you're not a Cupertino resident. The selection is good, but what really stands out is the abundance of kids activities. Not only do they have a dedicated kids section, but they have kids-only events, like reading to dogs (seriously). The hours here are also great - open to 9 pm many nights which blows the Vineland (7 pm) and Los Gatos (6 pm) libraries out of the water. The library is also clean and has a good sized aquarium. Parking is decent too.

This is one of the best libraries in the San Francisco Bay Area because of its natural location, beautiful upkeeping, landscaping, walking distance to shops/restaurants/etc., and the audience is very humble. If you're looking for a library in a safe, peaceful & walkable neighborhood, this is it. Cupertino City Hall and auditorium center is onsite. I come here 1-2 times per year and it never disappoints. Very clean area, green grass, beautiful trees, and absolutely perfect for lunch at the park with plenty of benches to sit. Return books in the bins all around the library or just go inside. Self checkout. Staffs friendly. Cute cafe Coffee Society is right next door. It's definitely a great place for ice cream. Library is beautiful and organized. I usually rent free foreign movies. Worth the stop. Definitely check out the entire inside and outside of library. Beautiful all around throughout Summer and Autumn.

Pros: -Lots of natural lighting -Big seating areas next to the window for views -Plenty of parking -Around an area where you can walk around -Box for glasses donation -Quiet upstairs Cons: - Some dead spots where WiFi will not connect. I went to the info desk and they said WiFi connects better when it's closer to the info desk. That kind of sucks. - Most of the outlets at the tables don't work

Cupertino Library is a hidden gem in the center of Cupertino, with a warm environment, plenty of natural light, and a large book collection. The library's comfortable seating, well-designed study rooms, and technological integration make it a great setting for both solo and group study. It embodies a modern, vibrant, and community-focused public library. A paradise for knowledge seekers of all ages, it's a must-see for individuals looking for intellectual stimulation as well as a peaceful study environment.

Love their selection of books. Got a library card last week and already have 15+ books in my queue. I love this library because you can submit passport applications here! Luckily someone canceled their appointment and we got in. Otherwise, their schedule is booked out 30+ days out. We are thankful we got so lucky!!

This library opens longer hours. The stuff are very helpful as well. I saw one Rep on the second floor patiently help with a old lady with how to use the library card, the computer and how to check out, etc. A sweet scene.

I came here to borrow a particular book and was very pleased with my visit. The library was in good condition, with clean and spacious facilities. The collection was extensive, with books, movies, and other resources available for checkout. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were able to help me find what I was looking for. The library also had several comfortable seating areas, making it an excellent place to study or read.

Did your mom leave you at the library while she ran errands around town? No? Just me? Starting in middle school, my mom would drop me off at the Cupertino Library to do homework while she go grocery shopping and pick up dry cleaning. While I thought it was freedom for me to roam the bookshelves and bury my nose in a new fantasy novel, now that I think of it, she probably thought it was educational free day care and she could have a kid-free afternoon. Now that I'm a mom, the Cupertino Library is an especially nostalgic place for me to return to, and my kids love coming here together now too. The aquarium is still there, the focal part of the children's wing, and still holds many vibrant tropical fish darting in and out of the murky coral depths. If you're lucky, the unicorn tang will swim a little jig right in front of you. There are hidden art sculptures of sea life if you look carefully but I won't tell you where. Cozy chairs and tables are always available. The children's librarians are always so helpful and kind. Story time for kids is great fun with not only reading picture books but also playing with puppets, musical instruments, singing, and dancing! I love that they have many programs to encourage reading like Winter Reading Bingo, Summer Reading Challenge, and Read 1000 Books and kids can earn prizes like stickers, stamps, water bottles, and books! To celebrate a Lunar New Year, they hosted a Lunar New Year lantern making craft activity for kids which was wonderful and suited for kids of all ages. The librarians precut the paper materials into kits and provided instructions, glue, scissors, and staplers and one librarian came around to help make the lanterns. Another favorite part of the library is the kids' play area with a wooden train set and tinker toys. No, mom, I don't leave my kids here on their own (yet), but they already love the Cupertino Library as much as I did when I was a kid.

Cupertino library is one of my favorite libraries in South Bay. It's very quiet and great for studying by the windows. However, it's pretty popular so sometimes finding a private study spot will be hard. Also because it's popular, not a lot of popular books will be in stock.
