Up date has been coming here since 1996 it's now July 2023, and now I driveFrom Paradise Ca. When I'm going to visit my friends and family. About every 3 months.They are very good hair styles.Shirley is the one that does my hair. I love how she uses the scissors to give it texture and also does great hair color. I did every color with my skin.

The owner is just lovely. I had an overgrown mop and she knew what I needed…. Plus, she noticed some scalp dryness and gave me some tips to fix. A+

I wanted to trim my long hair and also layer it lightly. I thought this was easy enough so I didn't bring a picture... somehow Shirley interpreted it completely differently and gave me pretty much a mullet in the back with the front really short... I'm starting to think maybe she is only good at cutting mullets. Anyways I came home quite disappointed and wanted to wait a while to see if the hair would grow into the cut. However it was just too ugly and I took the scissors myself and cut the back so that it somewhat matched the length at the front and no longer a mullet. The only unfortunate thing was that now my hair length is a lot shorter than I envisioned. And this cut cost me $70

I highly recommend Shirley! I wanted a pretty major haircut--from a long bob to a pixie cut-- and she gave me the exact haircut I was hoping for. She was very willing to spend some extra time talking through exactly what I wanted in order to make sure she understood and did a phenomenal job with the cut. I couldn't be happier!

Love this place!! Shoutout Shirley who brought my mullet dreams to life. First she checked to make sure exactly what I wanted . She even brought out different hairstyle books to confirm I wanted to add so many layers to my hair!! Once I told her about my hair type, and how I wanted a cut I didn't have to style every day, she created this beautiful cut!! The color & highlights were done somewhere else, but she really slayed the assignment. Highly recommend, and they were super nice & flexible with time even though I came in late!! She's also super good at washing hair lolol. I think I paid about $60, which is pretty fair for the wash, treatment, dry, cut, styling. Thanks again!

Thank you Shirley for helping give my hair a much needed spa day today! I have been to CaliHair for over fifteen years -- they really know what they are doing in terms of keeping hair (especially Asian hair) healthy and on trend. The prices are also extremely reasonable for the Bay Area. Shirley and team will also never oversell you on services. I had a balayage treatment that needed a lot of toning down, and dry hair that needed a fresh, simple cut. Shirley, as always, delivered. She is also extremely good at color (ask her for examples). She can do all shades of the rainbow Highly recommend -- go support your local business!
