Love Anna, she is a hair genius. She's very detail-oriented and understands Asian hair. If you bring in a photo and/or can be specific with her about what you want, she'll do exactly what you'd like. I've had a hard time finding a hair stylist to stick to in the Bay Area (have bounced all around the Bay to find someone who can cut my hair) so glad I finally found her. Her entire staff are also just the nicest and the space is lovely, like a gorgeous french garden! Do make an appointment because she is busy, but you'll be in good hands!

I logged into my old Yelp account just to leave this WONDERFUL review! This one is particularly for the male clientele. I've been going to my good friend Anna for over 8 years now. I usually just go for the occasional waxing services since I am naturally a very hairy guy and it makes me feel much more clean and sanitary, I just recently tried the phenomenal massage as well. The waxing is very fairly priced, so it always leaves me room to happily tip and feel confident I received my money's worth. Anna is such a professional in many ways. There are so many wonderful beauty services that she offers for male and female. She does a great job making the process quick, so it's not more painful than it needs to be. Anna does an amazing job of keeping things very clean and also professional. I would not pay any attention to any negative review as is usually from a one off customer making unreasonable requests. Like I said, there's a reason I've been going to only Anna for over 8 years for these services, it's because she is so amazing at her job! The massage service is great because I usually have a stiff back from working a physical job all week which builds up pressure in my upper back, and to my amazement Anna was able to crack it and relieve all the pressure which for me personally is very hard to do. I felt loose and more mobile the very next day. I highly recommend trying all services from Anna that may interest you, you will not regret it! Support small local businesses and the people who work so hard to provide these wonderful services!

Anna is an artist and an expert on hair. I have been Anna’s client for over 20 years. I always get compliments on my hair and have given out so many of her business cards. Her haircuts are amazing. It takes me 5 mins in the morning to style my hair and people tell me I look like I got a hair blowout everyday. Great staff and customer service too!

I just had my 3D digital perm week ago, showed Anna the pictures before started. But the results not what I really deserved. I requested big nature waive not the small waive, look really messy after few washes. Not worth 450+tips!!!

I don't normally leave reviews and I'm not a picky person. I just had my haircut by Anna, and I am disappointed. They are nice and polite but the result of my haircut was not good. I showed picture and made sure she knew the style I wanted, which was pretty basic and commonly seen. I'm embarrassed to share photos of my hair... chunks of hair missing, uneven lengths, and weird looking....for $75! Most of their customers seemed to be middle aged Korean ladies. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I had a good first experience but the worst experience for the second time around. I asked for a trim for my short hair but they gave me a full haircut and charged the price for a full haircut. I specifically asked to give me a trim only as I was planning to grow it out but they cut my hair so short to a point where I can't even tie my hair back. Absolutely hated my haircut - ugly and wired hairdo. With the cut, I also colored my hair (to natural brown - no crazy colors) but what made matters worse, the dye kept coming out whenever I washed my hair for several times. This also didn't happen after my first visit there...maybe they switched to cheaper products?? For the worst "trim" and color, they charged $180 before tip. Upsetting! Probably won't go back again. So disappointed...

After seeing the good reviews and the $$$ signs I thought this place must be good. So I scheduled appointments for me and my son. We arrived on time. We both waited for long time until Anna started to serve us. And she didn't serve us continuously because she was helping four other customers at the same time. She took turns to work on each customer. She was overstretched. So my son's simple hair cut took two hours! And hair wash was not even included in the $45 price plus $10 tips. I spent $370 and four hours to get hair cut, color and perm. The worst of all is that the results turned out to be really bad and ugly even though I showed her pictures and told her what we wanted. I would have given her one star if not for her nice and hardworking assistant Sandy. Because of the weird hair style we got from her we didn't want to take any pictures of us on our vacation trip the following week.
