Terrible restaurant.... chicken burger was very dry.... the bun tasted old and brittle. The fries were oily and over salted. The salad was soggy and the vinaigrette tasted like it was fermented. I complained to restaurant management and the manager said, "you need to talk to the chef.... blah blah "....so I talked to Chef Jun who was a total axxhole and displayed a rasis demeanor. Do NOT eat here!!! I left this dump, after i flipped the table over and watch that shxtty food hit the floor... that was satisfying. And yes, i did NOT pay for that shxt!

I love the Academy of Sciences. It's an awesome place to bring along your family and small (or big) children. The earthquake exhibit is a highlight for me - the simulation of the earthquake is surreal. The rainforest, aquarium (with an albino crocodile), natural history museum, living rooftop and other exhibits including the new gem exhibit are all amazing.

I was turned away from the bar because my ID is a US government issued employment authorization document. It's good enough to get me through airport security but apparently not enough for a Wolfgang Puck glass of wine. I showed my California State ID too, which is expired because I'm applying for a green card, hence the employment ID. Do you just not serve immigrants...? Ridiculous.

This was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had. The garlic aioli was amazing and then to top it off there was broccoli on the sandwich. This was so good. You need to try this place out.

I was invited to attend a business function at the Rita Hayworth Dining Room at SONY Studios. You check in at security at the Madison Street Gate (between Washington and Culver) and they check ID, check you off the invite list, and badge you and your car and direct you to a parking spot right inside the gate. From there it is a short walk to Rita Hayworth. The entrance to the Dining Room is a theater marque, vestibule, and lobby like you are going to attend a movie premiere. The dining room is well appointed and modern and has a large Rita photos, as well as other actors from that time period on the walls. Very comfortable and classy place to hold an event. The SONY property is very well maintained.

Imagine the time when Sony Studios was MGM. When Hollywood was king. When the click-clack of stilettos echoed as they wandered down the halls. Where extras hob-nobbed with the likes of Joan Crawford, Mryna Loy, Spencer Tracy, Clark Gable, Gene Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, et al. Enjoying a hamburger steak and a cocktail before you had to get back to work. Imagine when Hollywood was Hollywood. A place like no other. Look at it now. There was a brief moment in time when directors and producers and stars actually worked right here. And this was often where they had lunch. Met up to discuss buisness. On having eaten here, just once, the ghosts of Hollywood were palpable. You could almost hear their voices. Their laughter. Now it's just a shadow. A memory that will never return. But I'm giving it four stars for the fact that it remains. Faded. Sad. Like Norma Desmond in "Sunset Blvd." Where she was big, but the pictures got small. But there was a time.
