Went in to see about possible warped rotor/squeaky brake that I had replaced not too long ago at a different shop (maybe about 6 months ago). Also had a tire light on & noticed I had a nail in the rear driver side tire. I came here anticipating having to replace the front pads & rotors again to fix the noise issue and get a tire plug. They took a look and told me my front rotors and pads were still pretty much brand new, they just needed to be cleaned lubricated and reset (said the source of the noise was the brakes were dry and pad had been set at an angle instead of flush with the rotor). The mechanic I spoke to said he didn't want me spending $400 replacing rotors and pads if I didn't need to, very honest was not trying to get money out of me. He also noticed the rear tires were the original tires (my car is a 2018, year of this review is 2024) and due to their age, the nail I ran over had started to split the tire. He went ahead and replaced my two old tires, rotated them all for only $250 out the door. Dropped the car off at 8:30am, it was all done by 10:30am same day, I spent less than I originally anticipated, I left with the squeaky catching brake issue fixed w/ no more noise, and 2 new tires. Definitely recommend going here, and if you do, drop your car off first thing in the morning when they open and they will take care of you. Amazing, thank you guys.”

“They took really good car of my car and my wallet. They got my Fiat 500 rear running light operational (replaced a stripped out screw, and got a wayward running light out of the place where I accidentally had put it in the front (loose in the housing). They explained in detail, and showed me what would need to be done to get the front one operational. And they got my car diagnosed surprisingly fast. “The key to my locks broke and I couldn't remove the tires, no other tire shop could do the job, they told me that because of the space between the rim and the lock it wouldn't be possible (which is true) but here it can be done. They dared to carry out the work with my approval that perhaps the rim could be damaged when trying to remove them, and they actually did it, they were very careful and did as little damage as possible. I was grateful that I was finally able to finish servicing my car's brakes. 100% recommended, the location is far from me but it is worth it, I would definitely choose them again in any other situation ??”

“I think this is a pretty above average tire and lube shop. Owner is pretty personable. The staff aren’t the friendliest or most attentive but they seem to do honest work. Wouldn’t be hard for the staff to simply say hi or “how can I help you” when you arrive but they do work quickly here and are probably just focused on servicing cars.
They first did an alignment for me on a 2020
Hyundai I bought used which had major misalignment issues causing uneven tire wear. Pricing was good and the car drives fine. Only time will tell if tires are wearing evenly.
More recently, I had a brake job done on my 2016 Subaru. They replaced my brake discs, installed new pads and did a brake fluid flush.
Prices (mainly labor given I bought my own parts) were comparable to others in the area but 20% cheaper than dealers. That said, my brake fluid was dirty within 9 months and had to be replaced again. Might be something caused by the install, the fluid they used or maybe the environment…but we really don’t drive the car that much. The brakes and pads were installed fine though.
Personally, I will probably try another shop out for brake work next time, just to see if there’s improvement.
On tires, their prices are high. I got a quote from them on Yokohama’s for both of my cars and it was hundreds higher in total. To be fair, it’s hard to compete as a single “mom & pop” shop. America’s Tire (and Tire Rack online, both owned by the Discount Tire) is the absolute best local place to buy tires, though they’re in Torrance. Worth the drive down as it’s significantly cheaper with the largest inventory on hand and highest level of service.
I think it’s worth coming here if you live close by given the convenience. They work pretty efficiently and I never had to wait too long for my car. For my jobs, I’d go grab a coffee or lunch down Washington and my car would usually be done within a couple of hours.”
