Having a major issue with my brakes late last night I looked everywhere to find someone to help me out.
After a couple calls I got in touch Jennifer at Westside and she passed me to her dad who assured me there would be no issue. Having an old car from Canada Pedro went beyond the extra mile to replace a rusted and broken brake line that was very difficult.
All fixed and ready to hit the road.
Thanks to the family at West side for doing such an amazing job. And AAA for getting Big Red there safely.

Pros: Pricing was fair and they were “kind”.
Cons: For context, I drove my vehicle from the Bay Area to Los Angeles for a weekend trip and when I entered the valley, my engine began to sputter a bit so I pulled over and restarted the car (engine light turned on). I came to Westside from recommendation online. After getting it checked out, Michael quoted me around $550 for replacement of a valve, labor, oil change and filter changes Since I was not a local, he decided to take advantage of my situation (had to drive back home to SF in a few days) by telling me it’s a valve issue and I would not be able to make the drive back home without the car failing. I consulted a good friend back home and a trusted mechanic who said to go ahead with just an oil change and test that out. So I decided to go with that instead. After the oil change, I called Michael to see if the engine light was off he said it wouldn’t happen unless I change the valve, still trying to get me to get it replaced. When I asked to get the car electronically reset when I arrived to pick up the car after the oil change, he told me 1 hour minutes which is ridiculous since it literally takes a minute to do. Clearly, I was a bit distraught since I had work later that morning. and he managed to get a 30 second job done by sending a person to do it after a bit of back and forth.
I was able to drive back home to the Bay Area without a single issue despite their insistence that the valve need replacement.
Moral of the story, be informed, do your research, and no matter how nice someone seems at these car repair shops, just know that it’s a facade to make themselves seem trustworthy. These people clearly tried to take advantage of my situation, which I told them about in good faith.

I have been doing business with this establishment since 2005. In that time, I have always been treated like I was their #1 customer! This is a family-owned business that is both honest and fair. I take all my cars here for my entire family. I have even purchased a couple of cars from them, never had any problems. Whenever i can, i refer people to them when they are in need of a business that is both reliable and trustworthy. They are a MUCH better alternative than the dealership. I am a loyal customer for life!

Pedro, Willy, Jennifer and the gang are the best in class. I had my father drop me off to pick up my car (which Willy made after hours accommodations) and he asked me why do you come here, its kind of far from your house and i said because they are wonderful people, providing unparalleled service and you somehow get the best price in town, bravo on the trifecta guys!

Honestly their service is top notch and very direct. Very honest and clear people.
I found a screw lodged into my back tire right before I a long drive going to my best friend wedding. I didn't make an appointment and just brought it in. They quickly gave me an estimate and they were open about how long it would take, which I really appreciate.
Turns out it was just a screw head, but they made sure my tire was fine, had no leaks and was safe to drive on...and they didn't charge me for the diagnosis. It truly speaks to their dedication to service. I would highly recommend them, and they have won a customer for sure.

After calling many tire and wheel companies, Westside Brake and Tire was one of a few who had the knowledge and will to repair a flat on a Tesla car. The tires on a Tesla are different than other tires because of a foam layer inside the tire. I chose Westside Tire because they had the best reputation of the few companies that knew how to repair Tesla tires and because of their reasonable pricing. The other two companies that were willing to work on a Tesla tire wanted to price gouge. I would definitely go back if I get another flat. I highly recommend this company.
