“After doing quite a bit of research and price shopping, I ended up going with American Tire Depot and am very happy with my overall experience and decision, here’s why:
When I called in, I spoke to Kyle who was super helpful with all my questions. It was evident that he valued my business, and was not hesitant in earning it. Being talked to and cared for as another human, and not just a number is something I deeply value when considering what business I will support. When Kyle was not available, I spoke and worked with the manager Louís, who was equally amazing. They both exemplified going the extra mile to earn my business with a sense of ease, and that’s why they got it!
American Tire Depot, Kyle and Louís both deserve promotions and a nice raise!
Ask for Kyle or Louis when you call or stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

“They serviced my tire and then literally the next day it got slashed and they gave me a discount on the replacement. Thank you so much. They were fast and professional!”

They were quick to answer the phone and quick to get the work done. Not trying to rip you off - just an honest mechanic.”

3822 Willat Ave, Culver City“After an experience at Firestone that left me with an inaccurate diagnosis of issues on my car I knew I needed to locate a Just Tires nearby as I had gone to them a few times before for an oil change and some other routine repair. As soon as I came in, I had explained that I was noticing problems with my steering wheel shaking when I braked and that I was told it was a leak in my power steering fluid. Immediately Carlos who was helping get info on my car said that sounds like an issue with my breaks not the fluid, but they would check everything first before telling me their recommendations.
As promised I received a timely call explaining my breaks were all worn down to 2mm (from originally being 12mm) I was shocked Firestone couldn’t catch something this drastic! Just Tires was able to fix up my breaks to prime condition and get me back on the road in only a few hours, not only that they were transparent about pricing, giving me an accurate quote and including discounts being offered saving me a nice amount on the service. Carlos gave me honest advice about my car that made me feel confident in the repairs I had paid for along with a a timeline for suggested other maintenance I could come back for and when. Immediately driving off the lot I could feel the difference in my brakes, I am so grateful for their help and ensuring my vehicle was safe to drive. I would highly recommend JustTires to anyone wanting to do a quick check on their car (which is a free inspection), routine oil change or any bigger maintenance. They are honest, kind, and ready to help you get back on the road asap!”
“Juan was super helpful and understanding. He got me the services I needed at an affordable price, and they were relatively quick with the repair compared to other places I’ve been!”

“I think this is a pretty above average tire and lube shop. Owner is pretty personable. The staff aren’t the friendliest or most attentive but they seem to do honest work. Wouldn’t be hard for the staff to simply say hi or “how can I help you” when you arrive but they do work quickly here and are probably just focused on servicing cars.
They first did an alignment for me on a 2020
Hyundai I bought used which had major misalignment issues causing uneven tire wear. Pricing was good and the car drives fine. Only time will tell if tires are wearing evenly.
More recently, I had a brake job done on my 2016 Subaru. They replaced my brake discs, installed new pads and did a brake fluid flush.
Prices (mainly labor given I bought my own parts) were comparable to others in the area but 20% cheaper than dealers. That said, my brake fluid was dirty within 9 months and had to be replaced again. Might be something caused by the install, the fluid they used or maybe the environment…but we really don’t drive the car that much. The brakes and pads were installed fine though.
Personally, I will probably try another shop out for brake work next time, just to see if there’s improvement.
On tires, their prices are high. I got a quote from them on Yokohama’s for both of my cars and it was hundreds higher in total. To be fair, it’s hard to compete as a single “mom & pop” shop. America’s Tire (and Tire Rack online, both owned by the Discount Tire) is the absolute best local place to buy tires, though they’re in Torrance. Worth the drive down as it’s significantly cheaper with the largest inventory on hand and highest level of service.
I think it’s worth coming here if you live close by given the convenience. They work pretty efficiently and I never had to wait too long for my car. For my jobs, I’d go grab a coffee or lunch down Washington and my car would usually be done within a couple of hours.”
