When our 1997 BMW Z3 failed its smog test, our regular mechanic suggested Swiss Motors for specialized work. Swiss Motors knew the car well, found a replacement part, and installed it expertly. Plus they located hubcap covers, fixed our airbag light, and even washed the car! They are foreign-car specialists but I think they could fix anything. They are also very warm, courteous, and a pleasure to work with.

If you have a Mercedes this is the best place to bring it. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.

I went to Swiss Motors on a recommendation from Top Hydraulics. Needed all the hydraulic cylinders replaced for my R129 Mercedes Benz. They did an excellent job with the installation. There was a small hiccup but Marcel, the owner took care of it immediately. Excellent customer service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Honest car shops are very hard to find. They are one of the best.

I got my Porsche towed there in an emergency situation as they were nearby and my usual auto shop is a bit further away. They gave my a quote by the end of the day which was close to 5k. I took the quote to my usual auto shop to make sure I wasn’t being overcharged and his jaw dropped. He said they were charging me almost double what he would charge adding unnecessary labor fees all over the place. So I naturally decided to pay to get my car towed again to the other spot. They then told me I need to pay $250 diagnostic fee. Which might be standard but was not communicated prior and felt like they were keeping my car hostage until I paid the fee so I wouldn’t have to pay an additional 2.5K on that the job actually should cost. I wouldn’t have an issue with the fee if it was communicated before taking the car in OR wasn’t couple with the fact they were double charging for the work. As my other auto shop guy said “they’re out here to make a killing, not a living”.

Swiss Motors are simply the best. I have been taking my cars to them for about 15 years and they are extremely efficient and reliable. I am so glad I have a garage I can count on. Robert, Marcel, and Howard. Great guys, always helpful. They keep me on the road.

Great honest shop. They fixed my wife's BMW that had been to 3 other shops. Howard was super nice and keep my wife updated the whole time. They had it figured out, fixed, and back on the road in 3 days. Highly recommend

The most reliable place to get your car serviced. I have been taking my Mini here for years and the services are always reasonably affordable. The staff is also kind, understanding, and flexible! I recommend Swiss Motors to anyone that cares about their car.

Sigh....here we go! Not my favorite thing to do.Moved from GA and was looking for an honest mechanic. A way to find one as a female, educate yourself and create an easy test for the mechanics. My test - Coolant light on when car turned on and off.Shop was told the issue as well as what had already been checked/fixed and what I would like to be checked.- Expansion tank changed no leaks- Check for small leaks- Check water pump and chain - bmw maintenance possibly neededActual Issue - Expansion tank sensor is malfunctioning.Shop called and said there were no leaks - coolant light interment only. Not the case.Services recommended based on diagnosis- New expansion tank (only needs sensor)- Major oil leaks found - oil change (which was completed two days prior) and new oil pan- Brake fluid changeResults - I was angry and let the shop know it. I said that their recommendations were off and were making up services. I was told I didn't know what I was talking about and why would they make up issues when they work on 100k cars. Not sure why the price of the cars matters. I told Howard I would do the work myself and would write a review about this experience. I then paid $150. Now here comes the CYA (cover your a**) part...Shops response - apologized and proceeded to show me what was actually wrong with my car. They showed me a factory made expansion tank sensor and said his mechanic had it in his toolbox, swapped sensors and the coolant light turned off. I was then told if I had a genuine bmw sensor like his mechanic had I could order a genuine bmw expansion tank (bc he didn't know if they sold the sensor separately - they do) and that will solve my issue. So in five minutes the shop resolved my issue. But then didn't even fix it. I paid $150 for them to tell me what wasn't wrong with the car, and was sent on my way. Yep, I smiled and went on my way leaving the circus behind. So, instead of fixing the small issue I had and build trust, they recommended erroneous services, as well as insulted my knowledge of my own car lol.Still looking for an honest mechanic! Love my car and would love to give an honest shop my business!

This place is great. The people are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They work quickly and the work is good. Since they are busy, I have often had to make an appointment at least a few days in advance.
