I had a tour of Studio Royale with Rhonda and I think it is a beautiful place for senior living. I also met the nurse and felt comfortable with the whole environment. I think this will be a perfect fit for my mother when she is ready.

My outspoken mother-in-law Ellie, lived here for 8 years and when asked how it was going, she always said,”I really have no complaints.” One of Studio Royale’s advantages is that there is rarely turnover within the central staff, so the director, the activities director, the medical people have been there forever. They know the residents as individuals and there’s an intimacy that’s kind and caring. When they noticed Ellie worked word search puzzles, they printed one out for her every day until she was 103. She was always clean and well-groomed. Her surroundings always smelled fresh. The whole establishment runs like healthy family with solid leadership. We are very, very grateful.

My father stayed at Studio Royal and he had a wonder time there. The manager (Terri W.) really runs a tight ship. How she and the staff performed during the COVID outbreak was nothing less then spectacular. They saved lots of lives, I'm sure of it. One word to describe Terri and her team: HEROES!

My mother has lived here for over two years. My mom was at the point in her life where she needed some extra help and companionship. She has found just that and more at Studio Royale. The staff is caring, loving and responsive. I would name them in the review but there are so many wonderful staff members I would hate to leave someone out. The management keeps us well informed and has a good relationship with the staff and residents. During the COVID 19 era I am even more in awe of their care and safety measures. Prior to COVID when visitors were allowed inside, I would visit two to three times per week and many times I would spend over two hours there helping my mom in her room, visiting on the patio with her and her friends or joining her for the many holiday and entertainment celebrations. During this time I have seen first hand the care my mother and the other residents received. I have never seen anything that I found questionable. On a few occasions I happened to arrive at lunch or dinner and had a bite of her food. The food is delicious, and health conscious. The chef meets with the residents monthly to learn what foods they would like him to cook. He is responsive to their requests and prepares cultural foods as well. He told me once that he is cooking for them in their home so he should make what they want. That is exactly how all of the staff members feel about the residents, like they are helping them in their home. I honestly can't say enough positive things about Studio Royale. My family and I are so happy that my mom has a happy and safe place to call home!

Always has that urine smell in nursing homes, service for residents is questionable in dining room according to a friend who is there

I have been here for several years...,I am planning on leaving.Management is missing and this place is going to hell!!! A dependent person will not do well here....the back yard is nice.
