The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are great at explaining what the issues are and will be honest about if the broken gear is worth fixing or simply replacing. Appreciate their efforts and will be back for any of camera servicing needs.

Technically my camera was not fixed here, but the young guy ( apologies I don’t remember his name) inspected my camera that had water damage ? and was able to give me great advice on how to possibly repair some of the potential damage( luckily it wasn’t fatal or too bad) due to it being a type of camera that he couldn’t buy parts for. But with his helpful advice my camera is back to normal!! Huge shoutout to this business and I will definitely be bringing my business here in the future.

steve is the best! i bought a contax t3 in january 2022, and shortly after, it's teeth wore out. a notoriously difficult repair, steve was able to fix it in a quick turnaround. since, my contax t3 has been plagued with mechanical issues--and steve always fixes it quickly. very grateful for his help!!

My partner and I had a devastating camera drop moment and we were beside ourselves. We went to Steve's and the man helping us walking us through everything. He was extremely nice and gave good pricing on repairs. We were grateful to encounter someone who was so kind to us despite the fact we were nearly in tears.

The young dude is hella cool but they price gouge. Went to see if I can get A CLA on my camera and they said it's going to be $325 I'm new to photography so I almost did it. I talked to a few friends before I went through with and some of them told me they got their cameras serviced there for $100 I don't know if they tried to charge me that much because they knew I was a beginner and didn't know any better but I'm deeply disappointed. I grew up in Culver City and would love to give my business to a local shop but $325 dollars for a servicing is just unacceptable. Anyway I went online and found this dude garryscamera I sent him over photos of my camera and he is going to do a complete overhaul of my camera for $60 + $8 shipping that's how it should be. If there's one thing that I absolutely hate is when people think they can charge you an arm and a leg because the tech is outdated and they know they're pretty much the only people around who do they kind of work it's just not cool at all. I mean I understand it's a recession and all but $325 as a starting quote?? Unbelievable even samys camera said they'll do what I needed done for $120. I mean unless you have a hasselblad i wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are willing to give up your 401k to have your camera serviced. Well anyway thanks a lot Steve for teaching me a valuable lesson. Will not patronize this place. The younger dudes cool. The prices....are not. Oh and by the way here's a photo of the quote I got online for $60 + $8 shipping for everything Steve's said they would do for $325 + god knows how many extra fees

I'm writing this review in order to help others save their time and money. I brought my Leica camera here for repair. This was probably the place to bring your cameras to 20 years ago but sadly it isn't anymore. They claim to specialize in repairing Leica and Hasselblad cameras. I'm not sure if Steve is doing the repair work or his sons, but it's amateur at best. They didn't fix the issue and returned my camera back with a dirty rangefinder window. You're better off sending your camera to someone who knows what they are doing.
