Every animal has its own story of appearance in the station, very interesting, love it?

Went with the family on a Saturday afternoon to see and learn about unique animals. The girls (age 5) truly enjoyed their time as the tour was very informative and interactive, a lot was learned during that 45-60 tour. A variety of unique and ecotic animals are there (reptiles, birds, fish, a big cat, a fox, tarantulas, and more) along with their unique backstory.Getting there you have to slow down as you near, its a turn onto a small street into a business center where parking is shared with other businesses, buts theres sufficient space on the weekend. Small wait time as you wait for the tour guide to finish another tour and your time to arrive, but outside they gave a play area to pass the time or rest. Great staff as well, the overall experience was great and wellworth it.

Amazing non profit rescue center that takes care of a myriad of exotic animals rescued from the TSA, the local animal control system and other agencies. All of the animals rescued were either smuggled into the country or were pets that got too big for their homes. A great place to bring young children to teach about protecting wildlife and the environment.

This was a great family outing, especially for young kids. The elem school kids in my tour group were very engaged and had savant level knowledge of reptiles and birds and already familiar with the specific animals in the facility and the stories behind their rescue. It was a little bit advanced for my little ones (3.5y and 14mo) but there were hands-on opportunities such as a chance to touch a live snake, high five a tarantula, and touch a large tortoise. My kids had a great time and were in awe of the new experiences. This facility was more age-appropriate for an elementary school or early middle school field trip. You can also pay extra for feeding opportunities (which we did not). It's a clean facility, good parking, friendly staff, animals seemed well cared for and loved.Impressive tour guide who was knowledgable and had interesting facts, confidence in handling the animals, even as a 14 year old teenager.

This place has no concern for the well being of animals. They "rescue" animals and place them in tiny solo cages. Now I love education just as much as anyone, but not at the expense of innocent animals. I couldn't believe how tiny the bird cages were with no room to fly. The birds were visually sad and a few of them plucked their feathers out as a sign of stress. How do you call that a rescue? I pray that someday they get released. Sending love and peace to all of the innocent animals behind bars. Please don't support a place like this.

Great for a quick visit and a great way to make a donation to wild life. A tour starts every hour on the hour.

Our family loves Star Eco Station! We also love supporting their mission as an environmental science museum, an exotic wildlife rescue center, and a haven for endangered and illegally-trafficked exotic animals confiscated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It's not a large place and no super fancy bells and whistles, but it is so fun to walk through and learn about all the animals that are there. Each tour is guided by an Eco Station staff member, and we learned so many fun animal facts and surprising rescue stories. The kids loved the hands-on animal encounters and environmental exhibits. I also appreciated their messaging to teach kids about innovative approaches to going green. Highly recommend! No reservations needed and visitors are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Inspired by their efforts and left a happy family!

Ah it’s been a few years but running by this reminded me of one of my worst interviewing experiences ever.Staff were 45min late to an interview with me. When the interview took an hour to complete they then wanted to do a second part of the interview which if it ran it’s full length would have been another 2 hours. I had to go to my other terribly low paying job at the time. In total the whole ordeal took up the entire time I had allotted to drive to and from said location, interview, and start my next job, with wiggle room. Whatever they’re doing here I’m glad it wasn’t something I subjected myself to but I was hopeful. The interviewers themselves very snooty and quite rude. On this basis I wouldn’t recommend it to someone looking to further themselves in whatever is going on here.

Great place to take the kids to see animals. There's not a lot of petting so don't expect to. Staff are great to talk to and they're very caring to all the rescues.

I don't write many reviews, but this one I had to. Eco Station camps are our home away from home. My son has been going to Eco Station since he was 5 and they helped us find normalcy during COVID with their amazing pod program. Since then, he has attended summer camp, winter camp, Thanksgiving camp, random day off of school camp and my younger daughter was finally able to join him this summer. They are both very different and both had the best time. We tried another camp this week and my son was not happy there. He said "please call Eco Station and see if I can go back there instead. I love it there." I called the wonderful director, Danny, and luckily there was a spot for my son to go back. They greeted him with open arms and enthusiasm. He had a huge smile on his face getting out of the car. I highly recommend Star Education in general, but especially the beautiful Eco Station camp program.
