Worst gas station in the west side. I live in this neighborhood for 15 years. I shop at Ralph’s on National and Sawtelle so I can use my Ralph’s reward point to get discount at this Shell gas station. I’ve been doing this for years and this is the most Shell gas station I visit because I live couple blocks away, this is my to go Gas station. Because of the other She’ll gas station on Overland and Venice didn’t give discount.
So I went there today the 15th of April around 4:50-5:00 pm , the # 4 pump station screen was showing that my 0.10 cent per gallon was applied then the system asked me to insert my credit or debit card. I’m using credit card today, inserted the card in and then removed it as the system requested as usual then the whole screen went blank and I wasn’t be able to pump the gas, I walked into the cashier inside the store and told him about this, he said go try another pump station cuz he knew # 4 pump station is broken. I went to pump station # 10 and type in my Ralph’s reward, this time the screen showing that I’m not eligible for discounts this why I didn’t insert my credit card in because I wanted to discuss with the cashier first and see maybe he can help. Meanwhile I check my bank account and my chase Cc card got charge -$200 !!!! Weird !!! At this point I didn’t even get gas or get any discounts but I got charged by shell for $200?
Now, I went back to the cashier I told him. The system wouldn’t applies the discount for me and since my first attempt to fill up gas didn’t went through, why would the system took all my discounts out? He and the lady at the cashier register has no intention to assist but told me I should contact Ralph’s and Shell for complain and refuses to give me manager full name and contact number, she only gave me the manager first name ( Miguel ) obviously Miguel doesn’t has a last name and no contact information provided, I asked them how do they communicate with their manager, they just gave me silence and suggested I should call Shell Corporate to complain about this.
I told them I come here all the time and I used to fill gas at station #2 but every time I did that couple minutes later I got another transaction charged on my debit card and usually those extra transactions was never successful, I’ve also called my bank to get new debit card as well. And I’m telling you it happening all the time at this gas station . I even mentioned to the cashier that maybe you guys has skimming device where thefts use it to pull customer debit or credit card numbers , he’s shaking his head coupled said yes maybe!!!!. It is crazy!!!what is going on here ? also guys it is MAYBE these pump stations are not safe for us to use. I can live by without going to this gas station again but guys beware of this gas station! And yes I’m telling you this because I’ve experienced this and it wasn’t a good experience at all. I didn’t get their name but the lady was wearing head scarf and the gentleman of today. I’ve never seen him before.

Wanted to cash out a lottery ticket of just 100$ and they said I needed to spend a lot ,not the first time , but they do take my money for gas and coming inside to buy coffee and buy those lottery tickets but when I try to cash 100$ they give me the ran around !

Pretty low end experience for someone who has come here for a couple decades. The attendant didn’t acknowledge me for a very long time even though he was the only one around. Was attempting to alert him that none of the pumps were working for getting fuel rewards. Once he opened the door he claimed he didn’t know anything about the gas pumps and was busy doing an “audit” - he just seemed very irritated. Had to go inside to complete the transaction since the pumps were not working for fuel points. This attendant either didn't like his job, or my arrival at that gas station at that time was just poor timing. I will try the Shell a few blocks east on Venice Blvd with cheaper gas prices and maybe better service.

this station took my credit card number and charged me 1.00 three times and 200.00 three times. the manager was very rude to the point of me questioning his attitude I'm sure he was the one to rob me online. 02/09/24. 730pm

This is a small place that doesn't have a restroom and does not sell alcohol ... ugh! Very clean and organized place, though. They just failed me, I really needed to use the ladies' room, and I wanted a beer

Not sure what is wrong with their pumps but it has never taken me this long to fill up my car. I should probably get a bite to eatand come back.

DOES NOT HAVE A BATHROOMwish I had known that before I stopped here for gas and a car wash. They did v nicely refund my car wash when I said I couldn’t wait long enough for it without a potty so big thanks to the staff working rn

Not professional at all. They will laugh at you and care less about helping you . Avoid spending your money there.
