Zero stars but it won't let you choose that option but this was the worst groom we've ever had. I want to support local small businesses, so I opted for Pet City Grooming to see if they were comparable to our regular monthly groomer across town. I regret exposing my pup to this business. The owner is unprofessional and dishonest. He admitted after the groom that he was incapable of grooming our large Doodle alone even though he evaluated him in person first. The result: our unmatted dog was returned with razor burn throughout his body and an uneven, choppy look overall. He also had the audacity to demand double what he quoted because it took him longer than he expected and because he had to ask his wife to help him. When I expressed my disatisfaction, his excuse was his "usual clients are small and quick shave downs." I could go on but if you care about your pup like I do, don't expose them to this business and mistreatment. There are FAR better options.

They are fabulous! They saved my dog from a skunk attack. They regularly clip the nails on three very high maintenance dogs. One of them who is very suspicious has fallen in love with the groomer. I am so grateful for her. The staff is consistent which allows them to establish a relationship with the animals. It's a very good resource for the community. And finally, they have weekend hours!!! They work Saturdays and Sundays. I love them overall.

Mixed feelings. No issues with pets like other reviews.....and decent cuts, however on 9/15 whoever answered the phone was hostile and so rude for no reason! I called to make an apt and she acted like I asked her to give me her first born. I thought maybe she's having a shitty day or busy, so was extra nice and yet she was so mean to me I decided not to schedule with them.... so it makes it hard to give a solid review when customer service is so bad. I'm wondering if new management? Prior employees / groomers (Susan) from months ago where the BEST. not mean! Susan left so I will too.

We took our dog to this salon today for a haircut. When I saw our Plush, I was very angry. She cut her hair terribly, not exactly. Now I can't tie her tails because there isn't enough length. From a beautiful well-groomed dog, they turned it into a monster. And yet, the record was at 10 am, and we took the dog at 13.35. In my opinion, this is too long for a Yorkie haircut. I don't recommend this salon to anyone.

My dog is very anxious and difficult to groom, but we had a good experience with owner, Jason, the first time I brought her to Pet City (yes, we had to pay much more for their trouble). I made an appointment to return to Pet City, but they canceled on me twice. Basically, I got a phone message Sunday night that said "we will be closed tomorrow (Monday) so will need to reschedule." The first time, I accepted this. The second time, I realize I can't count on them to actually keep the appointment.

Brought my dog in for grooming (23 lb, 12 yo) and when he was picked up they said he bit the groomer and charged an extra $50. Was very thrown off because he has never bitten anyone before and is a very submissive, sweet, mild-mannered dog. When we got out of the car, realized his front paw was bleeding excessively. Bloody pawprints on the car seat. We were able to get him taken care of and he hid under the bed for a couple days. He is okay and back to his normal happy self now but the entire experience was very jarring. I called Pet City Grooming at 4pm (they close at 5pm) and got no answer so I left a voicemail. Was called back 3 days later and told that they missed my call because I called after closing. They later informed me that they were only able to refund $40/$50 of the additional price even though the circumstances show an obvious mishandling of our pup. Even IF I were to give the benefit of the doubt that there were zero signs of him being mishandled/being cut on his paw while he was there, the delayed and condescending response/extra charge alone is enough reason to not return. To top it off, his haircut didn't even look good! Will never be bringing him back. (PHOTOS ARE A BIT GRAPHIC. If you're squeamish with blood, don't look)

I loved Pet City Grooming! Everyone was very nice and they took great care of my dog. Simone came back relaxed and they did an amazing job. Definitely, I will be coming back!

Brought my 2 year old labradoodle-mutt-mix here and they did a decent job... so I brought my super sweet 16 year old Yorkie girl here and the woman said she would not take her because she is old and that she would require 2 people to work on her. What?! She's 6lbs. She doubled down and said she didn't want to take a risk that anything would happen to her because then she'd need another person to deal with her. I'm sorry, but that's just beyond ridiculous. So glad we were here on time at 8am on a holiday to be turned away. Bye.

My Dalmatian doesn't love nail trimmings, but this team is amazing. Highly recommend. Price is amazing too.

The ladies are so sweet here! They accommodated my tardiness. They were so welcoming and caring to my dog Apollo. I would highly recommend this place for all your pet grooming needs.

My partner and I recently got a one and a half year old dog. We have no experience with groomers, but one of our friends had found this groomer and recommended Pet City Grooming. I wasn't expecting much since I just wanted my dog to be groomed and have her hair trimmed. As long as something terrible didn't happen, I would be happy. My partner and I dropped our dog off and were told that we could pick up our dog in about 3 hours, which seemed reasonable to me. We were called about 2 hours later and when we went to pick up our dog, we could hardly recognize her (in a good way)! She was like a completely new dog, and I got Cara Delevingne vibes from my dog. The great thing about Pet City Groomer is that they don't just do an incredible job, but the pricing was miles better than other competitors in the area. We payed a third less than what other groomers were charging for less.
