“I called and ordered an arrangement for my daughter’s birthday. Spoke with Barbara and she is absolutely amazing!! She’s so helpful and accommodating. She had the arrangement prepared and delivered to my daughter in under two hours of my call. She sent me text message pictures of the flowers, when the delivery person left and when they were delivered. My daughter LOVED her bouquet, so did I. THANK YOU BARBARA for making my daughter’s birthday extra special.”

“I called inquiring about a copper fitting. The attendant on phone actually asked to be placed on hold to make sure it was in stock. It was confirmed. Though driving to there, I haven't visited the area post burnt surroundings. Of course I saw the news outlet pictures, but seeing the aftermath just broke my heart. But my experience in the store was great.efficient, professional, and just pleasure to see all there beaming smiling faces. ♥️”
“I was at a large orange hardware store and wanting to purchase sod, though they had a small 12x12 square for 13 bucks!! I called Avalon Nursery, they can pre-order sod, but they have to have a few pre-orders, which is fine. Sod is expensive and doesn't have a lengthy shelf life. Anyhow, She had another customer who was wanting it, she will have it this weekend. This is a family owned and ran business. So why not make my purchase from a family owned business. I will also be picking up a few trees and citronella bushes. If they don't have it, ask, they might be able to get it. Thank you Avalon Nursery.”
“I really love this store, and especially this particular location. Every mint plant I’ve purchased here has been incredibly healthy and thriving.
I also want to highlight Elke, the Sales Professional and Owner at Armstrong Garden Centers. She is truly exceptional. English is my second language, but she listened carefully and understood me perfectly. She even found the apple mint I was looking for—and it was in amazing condition.
I completely trust her judgment, and I could tell she genuinely enjoys her work. Because of her kindness and professionalism, I know I will keep coming back to this location many times.

“Overall I come here very often for materials for my projects. Everyone has always been helpful. Parking is a bit of a struggle with a truck due to tight size. Overall everyone is nice. Looking at other reviews that are negative I have never felt mistreated here. Prices are a bit hire for some things like lumber. But you are in middle of the city. To be honest I could drive further to get my lumber or tools but sometimes it is just convenient.”

“The green is here along with luxurious candles, pottery and velvet couchery. When I heard that a new section of the garden was expanding upstairs and that they were growing wine now, my tendrils curled. The glassware, the pamplemousse Savon hand soap, the coffee table bookeries are delightful. Buy some plants drink some wine, laugh with friends in a Forrest of flora. Pop some bubbles upstairs and giggle in the garden.”
“I always drive by this place and see a ton of really cool huge planters but never actually made it in, up until recently. I was in need of repotting my birds of paradise and needed a big planter so I walked in I was greeted by the gentleman that works there I believe he was the owner. Immediately greeted me asked if I needed help but I was kind of just poking around and wanted to explore so I looked around at first. Then when I wanted pricing he was super helpful I ended up buying three pots he explained to me that one pot that I had was actually created by hand and the little indents were actually made by thumbprints. I loved that he explained that, since I did like that pattern I thought it was a cool story once I got my pots I went inside his little office with a bunch of pots inside to pay with my card and to my surprise I saw on the corner of his desk a mini monstera! Love an unexpected surprise the rhaphidophora tetrasperma I had been looking for for literally the past 2 months from all the nurseries close to West Hollywood even a trip to the Flower District in Downtown LA I could not find this plant everyone kept telling me to come back around May because they would have some then that they hadn't seen them in years blah blah blah so I asked the gentleman if he had more of these and of course he walked me over to the greenhouse and I found a beautiful baby to take home FINALLY! So so happy with the selection and the pricing is absolutely phenomenal if you're looking for something that has a little bit of character I highly recommend going here for Planters the selection of plants was incredible 10/10”

“This was my first time coming to this Home Depot location. My mom sent me to run some errands for her and get some gas tanks to light the heaters we have in outside. My plan was to be in and out and that is exactly what happened thanks to Deniz. That woman needs a promotion because she is such a kind sole as well as helpful. “I was in urgent need for some landscape supplies early in the morning and these guys were very close to me in SantaMonica and open early in the morning. Despite the low yelp reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I was greeted by Nick who is extremely friendly and very helpful. Seems to know everything and manage to get my project all in order within about 10 minutes and all with a smile. Great prices and wonderful service. If you need anything, don't waste your time at Home Depot. Just come here!!!”
