Cute place, pretty good location. Beds are tiny, smaller than queen size. Lesson learned - when you book a "Premier Suite" don't make assumptions about anything. Call and ask explicitly about the bed size. It turns out that all their rooms are"Premier Suites".

Co-living atmosphere. But completely fake. Nobody talks to each other. Interesting concept but nothing sincere. Business.
Beware of Facility fees which are added to the initial price. 15 dollars per day to use wi fi and 4 bikes.
Few staff at reception.
Very reduced breakfast time slot from 7 to 9 am.
I will not come back. Damage.

Perfect location for a trip to LA. The rooms are very clean and the location of the hotel is perfect to get in short time to all important spots. Yes, the rooms are not that big, but related to the money you spend absolutely fine. I would rather go with a smaller clean room (like here) than a bigger dirty room of a bigger hotel. You always find a free parking spot at the street and the neighborhood is very safe and friendly. A lot of big shops are just over the street where you find all you need.

More like a 3.8, as the complimentary sake is a nice touch. Shower in middle of room. Hard for Ubers to figure out where to pickup for some reason.

The rooms are small. Similar to a cabin on a cruise ship. This hotel is very clean and nice. I would stay here again.

Cute and cozy hotel. Rooms are a bit small but enough for 1 person.

Location is good, 10minutes from LAX and good distance from sightseeing locations. Grocery store across the street. Room is quite small but fine if travelling solo or only spending a night for a couple. Upon check in the male staff was really nice. Later that day the lady and the following morning the man were not friendly. They both gave me an excuse when I asked to make a tea they said “the water isn’t hot, you can microwave it” and “you can microwave it or wait for the kettle which will take awhile” I waited for the kettle to boil both times. Not inviting at all to the lounge/check in space

Horrible experience. Bed is not a double its a french bed (xltwin) you could never fit 2 people in this room comfortably. Beds are extremely firm, walls are paper thin, managment is non existent. I requested to cancel the 2nd night of my stay at 7 am and they told me too bad. Really horrendous customer service and experience all around. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone

The courtyard is very cute, rooms are very clean but sterile.
Location is convenient to stores and chain restaurants but not cute.
Beds are small, full size only.
Free water and breakfast are good. sadly staff are not friendly noone says hello or good morning, very disappointing.
Safety: Went down to get watwr after midnight and there is no overnight staff, it didnt make me feel safe.

It is a clean and beautiful place, the only thing is that it is very small, it does not have Wi-Fi, and the breakfast is not bad and the parking is on the street.

I really liked the rooms and courtyard. They are nice and modern and feel like they were built for 2023.

Total hidden treasure. My bf and I booked this hotel purely for its proximity to a wedding we were attending. Would likely opt for Mayumi again when we visiting Sawtelle in the future.PROS:- Can leave luggage with lobby if checking in early- Easy check-in + our room was available 30 mins earlier than expected- Gated courtyard with keycard access for added security; courtyard itself is quite hip and cozy- Complimentary breakfast items available in the AM (oatmeal, beverages, fruit)- Clean, modern room with entirely digitized setup (lights, shades, A/C was on a tablet)- Excellent noise insulation despite close quarters- Great location in Culver City, with a convenient plaza across the street- Free bikes available to borrow for the dayCONS:- Very small for the cost. Hard to set up two luggages and have enough space in the bathroom to get ready- No elevator for the second floor, only stairs...- No coffee or microwave in room, only in lobby; room only had 1 bottle of water (???)Staff were nice and fairly helpful. We only stayed 1 night but felt it was far better than the other options in the area.

Cute little hotel that's safe and clean. Love the shower shampoo and conditioners, also had good water pressure and water bottles for us. There's a sake happy hour every evening and lovely fire pits and comfy places to sit around in the courtyard. There isn't a parking lot but there's street parking, the neighborhood is pleasant and safe and there's a shopping center across the way. The continental breakfast in the morning has lots of nice things to eat and fresh coffee. The rooms are small but have smart switches and a fridge and desk. The only thing was we had a room by the parking lot in the back and it was bright even with shades, so we had a hard time sleeping. We'd come back but maybe request a different room. Other than that, awesome! Psst - check in on Yelp for a nice coupon :)
