“Mega City One is amazing!! It may not look like much from the outside, but if you love comic books like me, it has mostly EVERYTHING you are looking for to meet your regular comic book fixes!! I've been going to this store for years and they rarely let me down. The owner and JON who's runs the store are incredible and have a wealth full of knowledge. Beyond that, they will go to the extra mile to make sure that your comic book needs are fullfied and you and your needs are fully taken care of. Also, Mega City One far exceeds their closest competition, that "Rotten Apple" place down the street! Forever, for me, Comic Books have always stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" When I visit Mega City One, I feel like I'm stepping into the Daily Planet where hidden greatness can be found. They are so much better than President's Lex Luther's villains lair down the street. Can't recommend Mega City One's excellent customer service enough! They will take care of you and you will NOT ever be disappointed!!”

“I had them repair and make a few custom beaded necklaces for me and they did a careful, thoughtful and beautiful job. Very much curated collection of exquisite beads. I didn't see anything in the store that I thought was low quality. Got a ton of compliments on my necklaces made by this bead shop. Good customer service and reliable. Finished the necklaces in the time frame as promised.”

The store employee, Julie, was extremely knowledgeable, full of suggestions and ideas, and very helpful. Julie, did not make me feel rushed or that she didn't have the time. “Did the beginner class for Valentine’s Day and it was great!! We made heart shaped bowls and the instructor was yuli and she was awesome!! She helped anytime anyone was struggling and gave good instruction. We thought a sweet detail they added were the valentines decorations, the wine, and the chocolates. Can’t wait to see how our bowls turn out in 3 weeks!!”
“I was looking to find some community in my neighborhood and came to Turn Zero Games to see if there was anything cool I could get involved with. I'd never played Magic or D&D before but was directed to their discord where I connected with a weekly D&D group! Now I'm there a lot, I'm learning MTG & Lorcana and I also just really like hanging out with the people who work there and the regulars. The environment is very chill and welcoming, the people are funny, and they have a TON of board games, TCGs, and mini games. The discord is super informative and their website is great too you can order online for pickup if you want. They also have great events.”

“Was married to a "crafter" for 5 decades. Michael's was a Mecca for her projects, be they faux flowers for projects that would fool florists embellishments of her (and my) Ren Faire outfits. Now my own craft supply quests are much more modest but Michael's is still THE place for picture frames or art supplies. Always on the lookout for bargains, things can get pricey, but often Michael's is just the only place certain things can be found. I love the parking at the West LA store and the convenience of the new self scan registers.”
“I love this place. They have a wall trying to keep up with the latest comic books that I can appreciate. Not sure how to explain but if I wanted the 10 latests comics of a series, probably couldn't get it but they still have the latest comics. Apologies if I didn't explain that well. There's a ton of collectibles so if you're looking for a gift or anything to decorate your house, solid options here. Shirts are a lil too nerdy for me but they seem to have been made of solid material. Customer service is great. They've always been helpful while I've been here. Not sure about the prices but it's like the toys r us for comic book shops”
“The staff is super friendly and helpful. I had no issues finding the large newsprint paper or drawing pads. Everything I needed was in stock. They also offer student discounts so you really get your money's worth. The parking on the side is a bit tight but there's more parking behind the building.”
“I was able to purchase two magnets from this store. It is accessible from the Hollywood Walk of Fame area. A ton of products to view and look over. The only con is the magnets were a bit pricey with each being $9.99. There's a lot of different products and something for everyone possibly regarding souvenirs.”
