I came to this Gold's Gym for about 2 months to see if it's worth subscribing for their membership. I had mixed feelings about this one.
Here are my thoughts:
- Selection of Equipment (8/10):
They have a wide variety of equipment. Many different ways to train all of the muscle groups. Any equipment that I thought of using were available. Now, I gave it an 8/10 rating because of how some of their equipment were limited in quantity. This is especially true for their benches. There were only 2 proper Incline benches, yes TWO, for the whole gym, which I thought was insufficient.
- Vibe (10/10):
I liked this gym because 99% of the people that visited the gym were there to workout! No Tik Tok influencers ?. Also, everyone was very accommodating whenever I wanted to share the machines with them. Moreover, I thought the people there were very considerate for wiping the benches and equipment after they are done using them.
- Bathrooms (10/10):
The bathrooms were very clean, well lit and spacious. Showers were satisfying (the strength of the shower heads were strong), too.
- Music (10/10):
I loved the selection of music in this gym. They kept me going and didn't feel the need to wear headphones.
Overall, I enjoyed working out in this Gold's Gym. I just wished they would add more incline benches. However, if you rarely use incline benches for your workout, this gym is definitely worth subscribing to.

Do NOT go to this gym. The front desk manager is stuck up, callous and thinks the world revolves around him doesn’t try to help paying clients.
Hey, you should take notes from the GM at the Golds Gym in Cerritos! They called me the same day and offered me a pass all week just to accommodate me. They actually care, unlike your gym you think your all that and A bag of chips but that will make you lose regulars like me who have been going there for over ten years.
No thanks I’ll never do business with you again and never refer my friends either.
Keep accommodating favorites and soon you will have no members at all.

Worst Location in LA ? no towels no steam room no juice bar absolutely bland .. staff don’t speak at all very stand offish NEVER GOING BACK IN LIFE! if you like small cramped spaces and only one cleaning station be my guest but it’s a HELL NO for me

This location is much like a neighborhood-styled gym with consistent, regular club members who never miss a visit. The gym is clean, with the staff helpful and friendly. The locker facility is spotless, shower, bathrooms exceptionally clean. Being a gym you have a fluid flow of usage consistently by the crosstown membership which means a constant cleaning action to maintain its cleanliness. The staff ensures its viability and strives for a cohesive, familial environment.

Staff hiding behind equipment to be on their phones when they should be cleaning the gym. It’s the older maintenance guy that’s doesn’t do anything. Don’t know why he’s still working here

I called the end of April to freeze my membership, I was told a request would be sent in to freeze it and that I might not be able to for May but June I definitely would make the cut off. I got charged full price in both May and June and was told “I’m sorry there’s nothing I can do I don’t see a request”. I’m disappointed this is how they handle their own mistakes. I will be cancelling my membership and not returning.

I was very impressed with their client experience. Very friendly on the phone and in person as well. Not a large gym, so not that many different types of machines, however, I didn't have to wait to use any machines. It's located next to the Culver City mall. Lockers were very clean.

Wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE. I have been a member for almost a year and I have been trying to cancel for over a month now and it’s an endless circle with dead ends. I have even sent screenshots of the instructions on the website and no one will reply. I’ve been told to call to cancel and then told over the phone I can’t cancel over the phone. I’ve been told to cancel via the website or a link that pulls up with an error. Their website states in a hard to find spot that you need to email the general manager and he let me know that I could call or use the link that does not work. I tried reaching out to the support email listed all over their website and I got an auto response letting me know that the mailbox is no longer monitored and no one will help me. Seriously such a waste of my time and energy and I still haven’t been able to cancel. Save yourself the headache!!

Woman at front desk didn’t make anything clear that I was to pay for a month to cancel my subscription. I went to this gym one time and I’m paying $62 for it. Just wanted to let people know my experience with this place and its staffUPDATE: THEYRE CHARGING ME AN ADDITIONAL $60 ON TOP OF MY $62 TO CANCEL. THEYRE STALLING WITH REPLYING UNTIL THE MONEY IS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
