“I worked near Lundeens and whenever I needed a fun gift or great smelling soaps and candles, I’d race over to Lundeens. The gift wrap, the small windup toys, the thinker things…wish I had one here on Oahu!”

“The service here is always top notch. They're always so professional and courteous and it makes the journey worth the travel time. As far as selection of products, it's pretty solid for a place that specializes in vapes and things to smoke out of. I'm certainly not complaining!”

“Lucky Penny General store is a gem in Santa Monica. It's more like a home goods store, interior design style. Lots of home accessories. A mix of modern and nostalgic. The store is well lit and designed. Browsing is always fun and Claudia is the best. She also has great food recommendations nearby. I always go by for the classic candy machine. Worth considering when buying gifts for family and friends.”

“I have never enter this store but I did wait for my brother in the car meanwhile he got a Siddur for me. I observed how the owner walked with my brother towards the books and probably explained to him what the book was for. It took me a while to read the Siddur. Know that I read it every morning and night, I’m very happy with it. May God continue to bless this shop. ?”

“I love this shop, so many beautiful and unique indigenous items. The person working there (4/10/23) was so kind. I would have bought more had my luggage had any space left. I will cherish my two rings and the shirt for years to come. I will definitely come back next time I'm in LA.”

“Some of the most beautiful flower bouquets that I have both purchased and been gifted from. I absolutely love the attention to details and how each one is uniquely made for the special person. Blooms on Beverly became my favorite flower shop and I know I will continue to come support this business for every special occasion in the future!?”

“After Necromance, sadly, closed their brick and mortar shop, there was a brief period in time where their combination of taxidermy and Victoriana was no where to be seen. I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.”

“Wow! I came in here for a quick gander before an imaging appointment at Cedars. This place is high vibe. The crystals are gorgeous and there are oodles of them. They have some hard to find specimens and many pieces are museum grade quality. Magnifique! They have a crystal to fit in everyone's budget. I'm looking forward to returning to see what they will have available next time.”

“RW is a wonderful part of our local community. The gentlemen who run it and the young woman who works there are also gems. The store itself has countless treasures, but their service and hospitality make it exceptional. They also work with local culinary and creative artists so there are truly unique finds among their merchandise. They make any occasion special!”

“Universal Park Hollywood has a section called Springfield. Springfield, the home of the Simpsons. No, I am not talking about Jessica and Ashlee. I am talking about Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. Those Simpsons. And of course the town would not be complete without a Kwik-E-Mart. It is a super cute themed gift shop selling plushies, clothes, mugs, totes, magnets, Lard Lard Giant donut and canned Duff Beer energy drinks. The coolest souvenir was the Kwik-E-Mart employee name tag. They did not have my name. Awww. But they did have blank ones. I was told you can use a whiteboard pen to write in your name and it is erasable. Plus I looked about to see if they sell squishees (aka slurpees). Nope they do not.The gift shop decor was stinking cute, there were design details to look like a Kwik—E-Mart. Even though it gets shoulder to shoulder crowded in there, take the time to look at all the design elements. There was even a statue of Millhouse sitting on a bench outside of the Mart. It was hard to take a photo because folks were actually using it as a bench to sit ‘n rest a spill. The Lard Lad donuts are pre boxed. You can get fresh ones at the Lard Lad donut shop. If you want the real deal Duff Beer, you can get those at Moe’s Tavern along with other libations.”

“Clean store, many options to buy, and I did walk down a few more blocks and I saw better prices. The employeesdid not talk much so friendliness was not on their list for the day. Pretty much the whole strip has the same things.”

“Pygmy Hippo Shoppe is a neighborhood gem, filled with unique gifts, one of a kind greeting cards, and the most fun vibe of any gift store I've eve been in. Located just off of Beverly on Stanley, walking into this tiny store is a small eureka moment: you've found a special store. The window display says it all. Do yourself a favor the next time you need a unique gift or a one of a kind greeting card - come amble down Beverly, make a quick right(or left as the case may be) and discover this store.”

“Came by Sand n Surf because we booked a reservation on Bounce to leave our luggage behind for the day as we explored Santa Monica. The staff were very friendly and helpful in checking us in and storing our luggage. We even bought some souvenirs after because we enjoyed the service a lot. They have a lot of different souvenirs to choose from. Highly recommend!”
