I often stay at Marriott hotels in several places. They all tend to be the same quality. Reliable. This specific one is close to LAX 9 minutes no traffic, 29 minutes with traffic.. so I'd say, think about 15+ normal. It's right across the mall, so a few good places to eat and shops to browse if you are bored. I definitely recommend the bbq place nearby.Has all the amenities you need, and a fridge and safe in the room. However the safe in my room did not work as half the buttons couldn't be pressed, but fortunately I didn't need it. If you do, check it first thing and notify the front desk of any issues right away. I forgot to mention it to them. The lighting in the room isn't the best as you have to have all lights on so you don't feel sleepy in the room and there is no table (other than the desk), so a friend and I couldn't setup a card game we wanted. Fortunately there is plenty of open seating in the lobby with big enough tables and we went there.I would recommend this place and stay again if I am visiting my friend nearby.Nearby activities: Right next to the mall

The location and service were wonderful, and the only complaint I have is the beds (see photos). We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds, and each bed had a reading light attached to the headboard. Every time someone in my family sat or slept on that side of the bed, they would hit their head on this light. It’s made of a very sturdy metal, so trust me when I tell you that it hurt. This is an absolutely terrible design! I can’t imagine that at some point a child or an elderly person hasn’t needed to get stitches, or at the very least ended up with a bad headache. If you can, request a room without these lights, if they even have one.Rooms: Beds and pillows are comfortable. Room and bathroom clean.Safety: The lights on the headboard are a hazard.

When we first booked this visit, we were a bit nervous because of the reviews. However, we were VERY happy with our stay. Everyone at this location was SO sweet, so helpful, and a complete joy. The staff at the restaurant and bar were awesome. Room totally did the job and housekeeping came at the exact time we requested. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely terrible customer service from the front check in staff on arrival late in the evening on Saturday 13th Jan - we arrived after a long day of travel to be met with 2, what seemed to be, very immature staff. They not only were rude and unhelpful, they also continued to laugh and talk loudly about our family whilst our children were in the lobby. This was unfortunate as the front staff during the day were always very pleasant to deal with and helpful on all points. Unfortunately the room we were put in smelt unclean, possibly a ‘mould’ or ‘dampness’ smell? Even though we had booked for 4 people, we didn’t receive the correct amount of towels either and the room was facing the freeway - this was not an issue however be aware it is very noisy all through the night.Noting the many negative reviews on issues with customer service and front desk staff, it looks as though the replies acknowledging the reviews aren’t put into action as the quality of service still remains poor. Definitely NOT recommended.

Apparently it's not enough to charge a $125 pet fee, there's also a $17 pet tax!Welcome to Sheraton, we hate your dog

Nicely finished rooms, slightly dated bathrooms, bar, restaurant and convenience store. Well located for LAX but avoiding airport hotel prices.Recommended.

In my opinion, great customer service should prioritize creating a positive and smooth experience for guests. My recent interaction with the concierge was far from that. I inquired about extending my stay and was promptly dismissed by him, being directed to complete the process online. I politely asked if he had the capability to check online availability, but received another curt response instructing me to handle it online.Upon finishing the online extension, I returned to the concierge for check-in, only to be met with a rather unpleasant and disrespectful attitude. While my stay itself was enjoyable, the discourteous treatment I received from the concierge left a lasting negative impression. It's disappointing to experience such poor customer service, where guests feel more like a number than valued patrons. I won't be returning to an establishment that fails to prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of its guests.

The room was very clean and housekeeping did their job well. ButThe room was very noisy at night due to an elevator that was groaning all night. The shower spray was not powerful enough to wash off soap, and the water took 9 minutes to get warm in our room. At $300 per night, it's not cheap- but the comforts were lacking in a hotel that charges those rates. Please fix the elevator b4 it breaks and traps someoneAnd figure out how to get hot water and normal pressure to the rooms.I don't think that's too much to ask.The parking lot is well maintained, butfelt a little as if I was staying in a jail with the gate that wouldn't let me in or outif I forgot my room key. Please figure out a way to treat guests better instead of sayingI'm sorry when you fall short. Thanks

1- FYI, the hotel charges $50 extra for parking per 24 hr for the hotel guest.2- Bed and pillows are not comfortable.3- Service too slow. Booked for 4 people but only 2 towels available and asked for extra towels and it takes more than 30 mins to deliver. They we’re also rude when I thanked them when they delivered it.4- Hotel hallways smells and dirty.
