Already came with my mind made up, and they gave the appropriate amount of help! They did a great job of knowing boundaries: when I wanted or needed more help vs. when to step back. A lot of times when buying gear, motorcycles, or parts, I feel so uncomfortably pressured to bend to what they want. Not here! You can tell all staff clearly ride and are knowledgeable about everything you could possibly ask about. Unfortunately I forgot her name, but there was a very nice young lady who did an amazing job. Thank you cycle gear! And thank you to the young lady who helped me out.

Today is the first and last time I will step foot in the Cycle Gear in Culver City. I visited this location with another female and was barely acknowledged, even though there were at least two associates available and only a handful of customers in the store. I walked up to one associate and he provided limited assistance with helmets and sizing. My time with him was quickly interrupted by a male customer who had just walked in. The whole situation was very uncomfortable because we were completely ignored for the remainder of the time but were close enough to overhear the entire conversation between the sales associate and this customer. The sales associate did not look over once to check on us or think to ask one of this coworkers to step in. The sales associate seemed much more animated and eager to help the male customer. We decided to browse the store and try on helmets by ourselves since it was clear we were not important. During this time, no other sales associates stepped in to provide further assistance. This experience was a let down after reading all the good reviews online. I would not recommend this store to any female riders. It was a waste of time and I will happily take my business elsewhere.

Love this shop! Found riding shoes and gauntlet gloves for my son that he absolutely loves! Staff are really friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to help you get the gear you need and the right fit.

I needed a helmet. I have a huge head and I wear glasses. The staff helped me choose one that fit, and was glasses friendly. Not only did they do that, but there were certain features I wanted and they told me some of those features are less safe and actually guided me to a less expensive but safer helmet. It lets me know they are about the rider and not the sale.
