Once again Volvo has let me down. Went in for a routine inspection. They were trying to get me to replace brakes for upwards of $2000. When I got a second opinion, there was 80% left of brake pads. How is this legal?

DO NOT buy a car here. DO NOT get your car serviced/repaired here. It’s been an on going nightmare with a defective BRAND NEW XC90 that we have had reapired 4 times since the day we picked it up from the dealership. One time they kept the vechile for 32 days and still have not fixed the issue. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. BEWARE, STAY AS FAR AWAY possible from this dealership and Service Center. I have proof of their extremely poor business practice.

Martin is so helpful, kind, and easy to deal with. I’ve been taking my Volvo’s to Martin at Culver City Volvo for at least 6-7 years now. Most importantly, they don’t take advantage of customers by overpricing or trying to sell things that aren't needed. As a female I always feel like mechanics take advantage, but I have never felt like that with Martin or the team at Culver City Volvo.

I was so excited when I leased my first Volvo (after switching from BMW) and have loved the car - with the exception of finding out that rats are drawn to the wires and love to eat them which cost $15K to fix (!) The reason for giving a low star rating is because I have been so disappointed in the customer service at the end of my lease. It’s extremely hard to reach people, to get clear information on options, to extend a lease (even when I have 3K miles not used yet), and to feel like a valued customer that they want to make a loyal brand advocate. When I finally got a hold of someone to talk options he was almost talking me out of staying with Volvo! And that’s exactly what I’m doing now after being continuously frustrated trying to get information and having to call 30+ times to get anything I needed. I work in sales and have a team of 25 sellers and have to say that if anyone on my team was this hard to reach or spoke to customers the way the Volvo culver team has spoken to me, I would fire them. It’s unacceptable. Car companies might think they’re in the buyer seat post Covid but they are not. Customers buying the car are still the buyers with the money that makes or break as your business. Taking my business to another company and now no longer a fan of Volvo either. It’s a real shame for Volvo overall, as I’m a huge brand advocate for things I love and had helped them convert a lot of new car shoppers into Volvo owners after I’d first bought mine. Now I’ll be driving a Tesla and enjoying simple, clear, and accessible customer service.
