I moved into Culver City a year ago and every single time I came to this Citibank to use the ATM it doesn't work or has no cash money.. Every single time for the past year. This place sucks.

Froze my account and made it impossible to unfreeze it. On hold for 3 hours. Even had to leave work early to go to the bank because over the phone nothing was being done. I lost money by leaving work early because this bank is ridiculous.

If you are African American, go to another branch, they froze my account and questioned my identity after being a customer for 15 years.

The Culver City branch is very prejudice these people there are so unprofessional lack of knowledge I had to close my account because Citi bank sent me a letter stating that the irs was going to do Withholdings of my account for not reporting earnings what earnings I don't filed taxes due to not having a job to report anything I was on the phone with customer service for about 2 weeks they couldn't tell me anything so I decided to go into the branch that was a nightmare there to no information to tell me but you guys sent me a letter yo take some of my money so I close my account due to this situation very stressful I had another incident that happened I made a purchase through PayPal before I close my account and I called Citibank to ask them was they able to receive funds in a close account they reply yes PayPal sent my refund to Citibank which I've been battling with that for about three weeks now they are saying they didn't get the money Citibank is stating this they don't know where the funds is which the refund amount is $223.99 I filed a dispute PayPal told me to cancel the dispute cause I won threw PayPal I didn't want to Duplicate the refund so now I have not received any money from either party so I reached back out to Citi bank they told me I have to request a appeal letter which it didn't make since yo me it's the lack of training and being knowledgeable to handle the customers affairs these people just brushed the situation off not eager to help solve the issue I talked to several people in dispute department and an evening claims nobody has a clue of what's going on here somebody help it makes sense I'll make it make sense I went into this branch several times and that one person came up to me to ask me if I needed any help I just stood there even the manager which is really sad then when he did help me they stop helping me to go help other people and I'm just sitting here watching everything like it's a movie of course I noticed there race and them being really friendly yeah people walking in there oh how you doing and them was the ones they waited on I guess they were the regulars my problem is when you interacting with someone you finish the transaction you don't stop in the middle of a transaction to help somebody else that's so unprofessional it says a lot about the company and the people that they hire in to work and represent that name would not recommend I thought this would be a good bank for me to start fresh but I will I was wrong they made too many mistakes in a cost me my account oh yeah customer Service supervisors or whatever they call them selves are just as rude and caring ready to rush you off the phone false information you do better talking to a regular customer service rep Citibank you need to do better before your banks in the being closed down permanently then you guys will be out of a job then maybe you appreciate your job much better to help people because after all it is us as being customers are patronizing the business of keeping you in a job honest review.

Thank you Albert Pulido and Merlin Ramirez who assisted me very well with our dormant account. I have read the reviews prior to walking-in and i was expecting the worst since I am from overseas and i was wary they will not be able to help me at all. But to my surprise Merlin was very courteous and assisted me all the way while being guided by Albert Pulido….thank you very much.

These politically correct corporations/ institutions are not doing the American people any favors. Customer service in Los Angeles is at an all time low , in person and on the phone thanks to globalization. American culture is being disseminated , yes. Mediocre or below average is not good enough, no.

I came to this location hoping someone would be able to help me as the lady in Hawthorne location wasn't able to do much. The banker who asked if I needed help....tried to help but seemed to be caught up with someone else on the phone and just simply glanced over my account. Looked at my check saw the amount and asked me "What do you do for work?" I had trouble trying to figure out if I should deposit my check again or not due to an incident that happened through mobile deposit. All he said was "Go to chase bank and see if the check is good" (chase bank was a little confused about this) At the end of the day I was hoping someone would able to guide me of what would be best or could've warned me what would happen since I've never had this happen to me before. All he said after I told him what chase bank said was just go through the ATM and it should be fine. After did the ATM option....I ended up with a frozen account, possible fraud check and my account set up to close in 30 days" This was exactly what I was trying to avoid by going in person to speak to someone. After this mess I looked up another bank and found 3530 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90010 Spoke with Jin Lee who sat me down and actually helped, she made calls to the company and one after another she was finally able to remove the closure, get someone to approve the check, and unfroze my account. Now that was customer service!

I I have never been to a bank and been treated so rudely as I was this morning by the Asian teller with no name badge. She was so rude and disrespectful and treated me like I was something on the bottom of her shoe. And when I asked a question she looked at me like I was stupid for asking! I plan to never ever do business there again.
