It’s Saturday June 17th and it’s 1:13pm in the afternoon and the Bank is closed. No notice posted, it’s not a holiday either. Bank hours say open till 2pm. Apparently they just make those hours up.Why is it important? Because when your vehicle loan falls on a Sunday or on a Holiday they aren’t open. Which in turn can lead to a late charge even though the loan and your account is at the same banking institution.Sounds like more Chase bs. Maybe it’s time for City Group.

I went to three Chase Bank branches today trying to open the money market account with an absurd amount of money. People are so lazy they walk back and forth without helping anyone I could not be helped in any of the three branches even though I waited 40 minutes in one of them ChaseON SEPULVEDA,Culver city.Chase Bank really sucks !!!!I guess the only good thing is that you don't need speak English to get a job there and you don't need to know what services they offer either. terrible terrible terrible

I really love my Bank. They've really protected me from scammers and other dangerous fraud online.I'm the kind of person that will be faithful to a company if they treat me and my finances as if I was a billionaire.Which I'm not. Anyways. I appreciate Chase. Now the CEO of Chase...Let's not go there and keep things respectful. To everyone working at Chase, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and most of all Peace in your heart and love in your souls.✌️

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. There system was down 2 months ago and they were not accepting withdraws or deposits. They directed everyone to the atm, I actually wanted to withdrawal with apple pay but my phone shut off. I asked any of the tellers if it was possible to just charge my phone 5 mins to give me enough battery to withdrawal funds. No one wanted to help except one very nice girl. She was grabbing her charger when another associate stopped her and didn’t allow her too. I think his name was Jimmy. If the system is down the least they can do is try to help people have access to the atm and make it easier for them instead of sitting around and getting paid to do absolutely nothing . 0 stars and won’t ever be coming back.

Absolutely disappointing service and a complete refusal to help. I have had 2 separate business accounts with Chase for years. I received notice that an account was put on restriction and would close within 2 days due to fraud concerns. I rushed to this branch to try to remedy the situation immediately instead of trying to deal with online/phone customer service holds. I explained the gravity of my situation & was told the only 2 business bankers are not in. No one would even help facilitate communication with Chase. They did not provide a recommendation for another branch, & had no willingness to check to see availability of business bankers at other branches. I am now on my way to my old branch.

Everyone here is always so nice the moment I walk in. I’m not only welcomed but I am asked about my day or if there is anything else they can help me with. I love their customer service here and the employees as well for being so great !!

I had an excellent encounter with Nelson!! He politely assisted me with opening up my new business account. He was very fast and very informative. Received a follow up call from him as well. Definitely will go back to this branch.

To begin, let me just say that I am not one of those people who likes to write bad reviews. I usually shy away from them unless there is a compelling reason to write one and it usually falls into the category of providing a public service. This is exactly one of those times. The reason my wife and I went into CHASE Bank today was because we wanted to open a savings account. We tried to open the account online and take advantage of their $200 bonus offer but after reading the small print we found that was not possible because we wanted to open a joint account. The only way we could do that was to go into the branch. Ok, not a big deal. So off we went to the branch over on Slauson (we used to do our banking at the branch on Bristol but it has been closed due to COVID-19). When we arrived we were assisted by a gentleman (who did not introduce himself) by the name of Mr. Jaime Gutierrez. From the very beginning Mr. Gutierrez provided us with the exact opposite of customer service. We were told that we could not open the account with the $200 bonus because we needed a code that was provided through an email. This was patently not true. When I called Chase customer service right in front of Mr. Gutierrez I was told that we could be provided with the code in the branch. At this Mr. Gutierrez said he had a problem with the people at the call center and that they were not correct. He continued to press on trying to get us to give in and just open the account. He did explain that if we opened the account with only one name on it initially we could make it a joint account later. This went on for some time until I finally asked Mr. Gutierrez if he could do anything to help us take advantage of the $200 bonus and he told us "NO". So I asked for our drivers licenses and debit cards back and we left. I would like to mention that when asked why he couldn't help us he said that it was just the way CHASE Bank did business. After we left the branch we went to our car and were able to immediately open the savings account (with the $200 bonus I might add) from our smart phone without any difficulty. We then went back into the branch and made our initial deposit without incident. We will still have to return to the branch to have the account turned into a joint account. It would have been nice if we could have been able to do this all at the same time but as Mr. Gutierrez said: "It's just the way CHASE Bank does business". If Mr. Gutierrez had cared about delivering anything approaching even "reasonable" customer service all he needed to do was say right up front, "Mr. R. I can't help you take advantage of the $200 bonus here in the branch. I'm sorry but that is just CHASE Bank's policy. But if you open the account online then I can help you take care of all the other issues later". This would have saved us a great deal of time and avoided an extremely contentious situation. But you see, he didn't do that. He wasn't interested in helping us. He was only interested in opening an account and getting the money. I would assume that opening more accounts looks good on his performance review. In the end we will be able to accomplish exactly what we wanted and Mr. Gutierrez will get nothing except this bad Yelp review. The sad thing is I'm sure this really isn't Mr. Gutierrez's fault. I'm even sure that CHASE Bank feels that he is an exemplary employee. After all, this is just the way CHASE Bank does business. I have been a Chase client since they merged with the old Home Savings and Loan Association. That's a long time. I used to like to think that my bank was a good bank. This obviously was not true. And this was just about opening a simple savings account. I'm now quite sure I can't trust or count on them when I need something much more important like a home loan. You shouldn't either.
