Being open has been a problem for this store for quite some time. New hours posted and still cant honor that. Sad. Just sell the shop to someone who can run it properly. Ive been inside the store once in the last 5 years, and have maybe been outside the store 40+ times.

Amazing store full of nostalgia and a nerds dream for sure. Coming from a total toy nerd, this place has my total respect and admiration. Big lou is a very cool and knowledgeable owner and a real gentleman who takes pride in his business and should be praised for helping us in the hobby have a place to geek out to. 5 stars across the board!

I've only been in here a couple times, and while I'm really interested in the huge slot-car setup they have, I've regrettably never gotten into the sport so I don't have a lot to say about it other than it looks really cool!! While I was shopping, one of the racers came unseated from the track, and asked me from across the room to replace his car in the slot, which I did and he replied "Great, now you're on the team!" which was a fun interaction! I have done some shopping here in the tightly packed, haphazard stacks and it is exactly the kind of shopping I like for toys and collectibles. It isn't very sterile, meaning you may have to go up and down every aisle to find what you're looking for (I found hot wheels in multiple different places) but to me that's a plus, as you get to explore this great collection fully and find the gems that are hidden amongst the rest. I ended up coming home with a few die-cast cars that have been tough to find other places. The gentleman who charged me (who I would assume is Big Lou himself), was very friendly, and we had a nice chat about the stock and the die cast market. This isn't really a toy store I'd bring kids to and let them loose in, but for an adult collector it is a must visit spot in the neighborhood.

I've been here a couple times and it's just so unreliable. I don't really mind the staff hanging out with themselves, it makes it hard to buy things and since the cabinets are locked it's hard to browse but whatever. It's just that the hours are a complete lie, it's a gamble whenever you come and more often than not, it's closed. I might be done trying, even though I want to love this place.
