I've used Armor Moving & Storage for three separate jobs now - Twice to move our office during a renovation and the last time for a personal move for my one bedroom apartment which included a couple of stops. They have been 100% professional, careful, and a pleasure to work with every single time. I have referred them to other friends and colleagues as well. Highly recommend!

I recently hired Armor Moving for a move from LA to SF. I came across the company from a Facebook community board for Culver City residents whose members when asked for a mover recommendation, Armor was repeatedly mentioned with the glowing reviews. I was determined to bid out my move with a few companies, but Armor was wonderful to work with from the start. Eric came to my house quickly to survey the move and provided me a quote. Within 30 minutes of my initial call, I knew how much the move would cost (reasonably priced), how long it would take (lightning speed), and how many guys he would send for the job (adequately staffed). Eric was very generous with his time and was happy to answer all of my questions. I was so impressed by the level of professionalism, I never called another company, I just booked Armor, never looked back and I'm so glad I didn't. Come move day, Eric's team arrived on time and ready to work. Not only were they kind and hardworking, they wrapped my furniture with the utmost of care and it was clear it was a seasoned team. I've moved many times in my life and this was the most seamless/painless experience I've ever had. Hire Armor. Don't call the other annoying companies. P.S. The estimate was on target.

I had Mike visit my house to price my move. He wouldn't confirm the appointment until early on the same day, but it was for a Sunday, so I agreed. He arrived on time on Sunday morning. I found him a bit hard to communicate with and to understand, but he came recommended to me so I decided to try to give him my business. He said that I would hear from his son later that day with an estimated price. He also said it would be a move with 5 men and cost about $200 per hour. Mind you, he was hesitant to give me a price as he said his son handles these things and he was just filling in. I DID give him a date for my move when we were on the phone and when he arrived he had the complete wrong date noted down. When we first spoke he seemed a bit confused and disorganized so I offered to text him so he had my info handy. I didn't hear back so I followed up the next day. I wanted to confirm that I understood what he was offering, so I asked for a written estimate. He said he already gave me a price the day before. (I suppose his reluctant price for 5 men working, that was not in writing was what I was to rely on?) He seemed annoyed by this and continued to tell me how long they had been in business. (Despite the fact that he said I would have my price from his son the day before). He offered to send me a blank contract. He also now referred to only 4 movers, not 5. I reminded him that he said 5 movers the day before and around $200 per hour. 5 movers will be closer to $300 per hour. By asking questions I discovered that there are additional costs such as tape and shrink wrap. When I asked the size of the shrink wrap roll he responded in an exasperated tone " I don't know". I asked because I'm trying to figure out how much this move will cost. Then I asked if he could explain how his insurance worked. He rudely responded with "Are we really going to go there?" I was surprised by this response as it is a fair question to ask, since I have never worked with him before. He kept saying that he is "trying to he's trying to help me and to trust him" , I responded letting him know that without answers to my questions and nothing in writing that we can't possibly move forward. I asked if he the owner and perhaps it's best that I speak to his son? He said "of course I'm the owner, who else would come out on a Sunday morning?" Not sure what that had to do with anything? I decided NOT to use this company due to the difficulty in communicating with the owner, his rude responses to my reasonable questions, his changing of answers after the fact and the bad vibe I got from him in how he treated a potential customer.

I have moved many times, and Armor is THE BEST moving company I have ever had. They were prompt, professional and offered good pricing as well. They were extremely flexible to work within my timeline, and I could tell they really cared about doing a good job, and also making the move less stressful (as it was a 2-day/overnight move). The team was upbeat, and very personable and kind, and treated our things carefully. I would 1000 times over recommend Armor. Trust from someone who has moved a ton, and hired many moving teams, Armor is by far the best on all fronts.

I have used this company twice over the past year and was extremely pleased with their service both times. The movers were friendly, respectful, and extremely efficient. They handled furniture and boxes carefully and listened to specific requests/instruction. They even offered helpful advice when asked. I would definitely hire them a third time if/when I move again.

Armor helped arrange a truck and two movers on late notice. They were understaffed on moving day but they made it work and showed up on time and with a smile. They worked really quickly and carefully. I was very pleased with their service and I felt the rate charged was a fair price for my small move.

If I could increase the number of stars ... I absolutely would ... Mike and Eric Snell are definitely the first choice for both moving and storage ... if you think that you are cutting corners by doing it yourself ... forget it ... just call Armor! The personal touch has no value ... these guys are reasonably priced AND they are available! The men who work with them: Gilbert, Adrian et al. are professional, trustworthy and handle YOUR items as if their own. 6 more stars for the Team! Mirrors, delicate items, art work, no matter what you will receive it in the same manner that you left your items with them. Whew!!! I have opened PODs that they wrapped and packed ... 2 years later ... and everything was beautiful!!!Kudos to this amazing group of men!Thelma

I enlisted the help of Armor when making a move from Los Angeles to San Diego! Their team arrived on time in the morning and what I dreaded would be a stressful move, ended up being seamless thanks to Eric and his team! They took great care to make sure all of my belongings were protected. All of my furniture was in tact and in pristine condition upon arrival! Now, if only I could find a moving company of this caliber in San Diego!

This is so sad. I was just informed Armor Moving sold my stuff which was kept in one of their storage lockers. I was not informed this would happen. After speaking with my lawyer I know this isn't the only case of it happening. I've lost baby photos I can never get back, plus a ton of clothes and furniture. They had my current details as well, and they said they reached out but there's no proof of that. I'm emotional and at a loss to explain why they would sell their customers property without notifying them.
