I went to Alandale's as I needed a post-pandemic suit. I used to go to Brooks Brothers in Century City, but they're gone, and I really didn't want to spend a lot of money in the department stores. After reading the Yelp! Reviews, I chose Alandales. Irene, who I assume is the owner, runs the business effectively and has a limited, but very good, selection of suits, and her prices are also very good. She has a good eye for what will work for a customer, and she was straightforward in telling me what her thoughts and opinions were. She also made color and coordination suggestions that align quite well with my own tastes - without me telling her much at all. I found her to be knowledgeable and friendly, and easy to work with. The suit looks great, and if I need another for a different occasion, I'll go to Alandales.

Fantastic shop, owner was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating when I realized I wanted to change what color pants I was buying after she'd already taken the tags off (ideally don't do this yourself!!! But she didn't have to let me swap and it was incredibly kind of her to let me do that)

I first went to Alandales to get clothing for a cocktail attire event and quickly discovered that they not only had exactly what I was looking for but also had a wide selection of other items that I found very stylish. Overall the style, selection, and quality of the materials have made this place my go-to clothing store for special events and casual wear. The owner, Irene, also has a deep knowledge of men's fashion. This has been really helpful for me when I'm trying to find the right clothes for specific occasions as well as the right style that suits me.

Wow, this is the first time a clothing store made my day. Everything in the store was tasteful and well constructed, yet not too expensive. The customer service was unpretentious and EXCELLENT!

Alandales is a GREAT store. The clothes are top notch. Irene is the BEST. If she can make me look good , she'll make you look fantastic. Lisa , the hair stylist is AMAZING. Best haircut I ever got , every time I go in. She takes her time and is a perfectionist. Also this store has a phenomenal changing room !!

In town for a wedding and an hour before the wedding I realized my suit shirt was not gonna work. Rushed over from The Culver Hotel and was immediately helped by the Owner Irene. She is amazing, beautiful store with quality goods. She jumped into action helping with a new button up shirt and fitting. She even steamed the shirt so I would be ready to go for the wedding. I read a few online reviews mentioning how incredible Irene is at helping clients find the right clothes for their sense of style and their budget, and I've found that all of the rave reviews are true. Irene brings a great sense of humor and sass (in the best way possible) and helps you find exactly the look you're going for. I purchased a blazer and two suits from her and received a lot of compliments on each. I can't say enough nice things about Irene and Alandales, and I will be sure to go there first when I'm looking for clothing in the future. Her selection of casual wear is great, and next time I need to get something fashionable, I'll be going straight to Alandales. The fact that it's a small, local business is pretty cool too.

A+ service - I love the owner's personality! She was very helpful in helping me pick out what I liked and what I didn't. Returns are a breeze too if you need to do that (as long as you didn't actually wear the clothes)

This place is really special. I hardly ever buy suits so when I went in, I spelled out what I wanted and my price range. The owner Irene was beyond helpful. She walked me through a number of considerations involved in choosing an appropriate suit, many of which I'd never thought of, and showed me some very nice items right in my price range. I ultimately bought something that was a bit more expensive than I'd intended but she never pressured me at all. She gave me additional advice afterwards about the suit and about buying some additional items, regardless of whether or not the advice might lead to a sale for her store. I definitely go the impression that the store itself and satisfied customers are things that are very important to Irene. The whole process was the kind of traditional shopping experience that can't be duplicated online and is rarely approached by chain stores, at least in my experience. Definitely glad I wandered in.

Wow! What a neat little secret in Culver City! Women and men can get their hair styled, cut and colored in this classic men's clothing boutique. Just look at what Lisa did for me.I had a grey patch that maid me feel like the Bride of Frankenstein! ha. Lisa shower me how to embrace it by coloring my hair and highlighting the grey- which brightened up my face. I feel younger and it looks great! THANK LISA!
