This is the worst building supply company for Customer service, I was about to buy a 1x8x16 Douglas Fir clear and I was expecting to have a nice finish grain
The OLD HISPANIC YARD MAN TOLL ME THAT THEY CAN NOT CHOOSE THE ONES THAT I LIKE , I went the the counter and requested to speak to the manager
But he was already gone, Tony told me that in 40 years of the store, no one chose the lumber and if I wanted it, I should take it or I should leave and look for another lumber yard. Tony and the people in the yard should not be working there and treat people like that im a General Contractor and it would never return to that store

This place is GREAT!!! The dudes who helped me were all extremely respectful, polite and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make things as simple as possible for me. Everything about my time here was excellent. My experience here honestly couldn't have gone any better. I would absolutely recommend A & G to my friends and family. All the homies love A & G

I walk into A&G with just seven dollars in change to grab me a box of nails to construct a decent shelter to get off the streets and out the heat. I have little knowledge of building any thing but YouTube persuaded me that I can do it, so anyway the guy inside the store that's very helpful and he even let me have the nails of all charged. I was blown away, I didn't think people like this still existed. Thank you A&G for your support hope to do business with you agaIn. Five stars for A&G LUMBER.

I bought over $5000 worth of Kayu Borneo wood from the manager Tony. He gave me some really bad selections of the wood. Returning them was very difficult and he had a lot of attitude towards me for returning damaged wood. I will never come back in the shop again. I’m going to tell all my friends the same thing including every contractor I know in LA about the rude and disrespectful customer service from Tony. He was also rude to my girlfriend. I’m shocked that they do business like this and I’m very surprised they are still in business with this kind of attitude. I would highly avoid doing business with this company or Tony.

Waited outside as the sign requested and nobody came and there were 3 people sitting inside. Finally someone told me just to go in. Once inside no one offered help and just sat there. I ask where a product was he pointed and I said I had a question and even then he got up grudgingly and quiet frankly was rude so taking my business elsewhere. Wanted to use a local small company as I live very close - not again

Amazing place, tons of choice, quality wood at a very fair price. Excellent customer service. I called in the day before Christmas at 10am to check prices and availability to build a 300 sqft deck, it was delivered 2 hours later for a very inexpensive fee. What a efficient business!

I couldn't have been happier with the service I received at this lumberyard. I went to Home Depot and Lowe's yesterday to search for some basic fence-building lumber (picket panels and 2x4s). But since this is the pandemic and everyone is going DIY crazy, there was no lumber to be had. So I turned to A & G, which is mere blocks from my house. They had exactly what I needed, and were able to deliver within the hour for a mere $25 (versus the $79 delivery fee quoted by Home Depot and Lowe's, no matter where I lived). The wood is good quality and the convenience factor is off the charts. Thanks, A&G!

Was about to purchase $200 worth of lumber and drill bits, biscuits, paint materials, etc. as I like to support small biz, but if they're not going to have the courtesy to make personal phone calls when shoppers aren't walking around, s*** talking 'liberal thinking and colleges', then they don't deserve my business. Clock is ticking... How clichè that the lumber yard mgmt is super conservative. Fits nicely with anti-liberal, antiregulation so industrial tree farming can continue and these guys save 1 more percent a year on their bottom lines.
