This has become one of our favorite places simply to visit, with a selection of curios and snacks to delight, wonderful meals (especially the smoothies!) and delicious bites (the donuts are a MUST try) that rotate with the seasons. “Small and plenty. The location and parking is quick and easy. The vendors and quality is great. I was able to get the yummiest spicy hummus and fresh pita chips. Produce and the deals were great and very nice customer service. I posted a pic (1/2 eaten) of J & J Farms Trail mix because for $5 not only was it a great amount the nuts are fresh and the raisins were plump and juicy. I'd like more raisins personally. Now I know why my in-laws are often wanting this farmers market to be in their Saturday morning routine. Next time, I'm getting some authentic Filipino cuisine, Dinuguan and got to try some lumpia because one must treat themselves. Also. I've been looking for local honey and this spot also has a vendor.”
“In a world of supermarkets, I love a corner neighborhood market. Great selection of snacks, drinks, candy, and grocery items. Went for the cheessteaks . Have to say, for the little corner shop, they were pretty good! They make them fresh, call ahead if you don't want to wait.”

“Decided to try a different deli today and went to J & O's. I had a pastrami on rye with mustard pickle and provolone. Well balanced sandwich. My wife had Ham and pepper Jack on a soft roll while our friend had Turkey and cheddar on a soft roll. All meats, cheeses and spreads were Boar's Head product. Everything was good. We will come back to try other sandwiches.”

“I get my Tapee Tea from here. They have the box version which has 25 packs for $35. The Tapee tea is used for inflammation omg other things butainly inflammation like gout. There other types of Tapee tea but this one has the ingredient black ginger which is the difference between the other two. There is a new Tapee tea out there that helps with inflammation, blood pressure, and diabetes/sugars and it also has black ginger.”

“The best place for your purchases in Vallejo Ca, anyway everywhere is expensive? I especially love that I can always call and place the order for the butcher shop whenever I arrive, the butcher already has it ready for me in the bag just to pick it up I no longer have to be in line waiting until everyone passes by, at Cardenas house it happened to me that I waited up to 15 meters or more because there were a lot of people in line now I no longer have that problem and in general they have everything that is needed for the kitchen I also make my money transfers there, and the staff is very friendly in general, I recommend this store♥️”

“This is a great corner store. They tried to help out during the shut down by offering things you couldn't find in the grocery stores. Flour, corn meal, milk, bread. The staff is always helpful and are also part of the community. It gives me a warm feeling inside when I go grab Takis, Hot Cheetos, and Gatorade for my heathens, that they will be safe and watched out for if they stop by.”

“J&L is a small local grocery of the sort that has almost died out. But since Crockett isn't home to a big grocery store it is immensely convenient to have in town. The selection is surprisingly good for such a small store and the people are friendly and helpful. Get a copy of the Crockett Signal while you are in there.”
