After I posted my Yelp review, I received an email stating that my membership had been cancelled. I replied back that I am sad that this decision was made, but if this is the case, that I would expect to receive refund for the unused portion of my membership. I also said that if I do not receive that, I will contact the Better Business Bureau. I have been made aware that this has also happened to another dedicated yoga student. If you have read my original post, you will see that I simply contacted her about her company's error. I was excited to attend class that day. I have always enjoyed the classes. One would think that the owner would be compassionate and understand that I was eager to go back to her studio and was very inconvenienced by the studio's error. I am waiting to hear back until Monday, and if I do not receive the reimbursement, I will contact the Better Business Bureau. It is clear that this business owner has never read the Consumer Bill of Rights. I will not be bullied into removing my post. I hope to add a positive update as people do make mistakes and it takes a compassionate caring owner to listen to their customers. Either way, you will see an update next week. I received an email response and the money component has been clarified. I wish the owner good wishes and a positive future.

I absolutely love the magic of this studio. The cafe downstairs, the exposed brick walls, and the unique energy of Crockett combine to give it the feeling you seek in a sanctuary space. I am especially grateful for (and totally enamoured with) Katie V's teaching style & authentic attitude...her yoga classes always help me feel empowered and grounded! I also love how the space is "clutter free"...so many yoga studios seem to accumulate stuff & religious deities that I do not identify with for shrines and whatnot. Way to keep the energy flowing free Doux!

Tried Doux for the first time in September for New Student Free Week And I cant rave enough about it. I live in Hercules and before Doux opened, my closest studio was Pt. Richmond or Martinez. So excited to have a nearby option in Crockett! The space is small and quaint, and both the instructors and students were a diverse and humble demographic. Street parking is ample in the day but a bit harder for night classes. Just bought a 10 class pass, so I can't wait to experience more Doux! I really hope the studio flourishes- this is a much needed spot in our corner of the bay that lacks such options!

The best yoga classes in the East Bay. Amy's yin restorative classes are the best classes I've ever taken in the Bay Area. I leave here feeling more into my body and less stressed. They also have really great deals where they reduce the classes if you have their MINDBODY app and book on the day of the class. It makes yoga affordable and more accessible for those that cannot afford the higher prices of yoga classes in the Bay. The instructors are so knowledgeable and welcoming. Come visit! You won't regret it:)

I had tried an aerial yoga class with my boyfriend yesterday and Lorianna was sincerely the best yoga instructor I've had. Trying yoga in the air looked complicated, but she was able to give precise verbal instructions on how to master the pose with ease. The environment of the class felt absolutely free of judgement. I would love to try this class again!

You need to get off the 80 and check this place out. Forget Berkeley & Martinez - this is it.

5 stars simply isn't enough for Doux Yoga! I've been taking classes here religiously since it opened. The instructors are supportive, knowledgeable and provide adjustments if desired. Each class leaves me feeling better than when I walked in. Friendly owners and front desk staff in this clean studio. I feel so fortunate to have this business in town.

I love this studio sooooooo much! I was brought here by my coworker for my first in studio yoga class. I was obsessed immediately and enrolled in a membership. every time I come, I am always greeted by the individual who is working the counter that day. Not only am I greeted immediately but after class when i leave I am always told to have a good day! all the yoga instructors are amazing, so friendly & helpful! I love that the classes are small and more intimate so my teachers can assist me when needed. you get used to seeing the same faces so it gives off a family vibe :) I really suggest giving this place a try because you won't regret it!

The town of Crockett already has beautifully unique and wonderful allure; Doux Yoga adds even more beautiful charm to this mix. I've taken a number of yoga Sunday classes here. I love the instructors and the overall studio vibe. I especially enjoy that it's a yoga studio (upstairs) with an attached cafe (downstairs). A good latte following a morning vinyasa flow make for a pretty amazing Sunday morning. I've met the owners briefly and I truly admire them and any entrepreneur with the vision, courage and commitment to create something from nothing. I so want to see this business succeed and thrive, and have been telling all my friends and family about this great new yoga studio in Crockett. It's just a short drive from the Pleasant Hill Area. The instructors (especially Amy Norris) are extremely gifted in their craft, and overall the space just exudes positive energy. For anyone looking for an great place to take yoga, I highly recommend Doux.

I came in to get breakfast and coffee. I was actually very excited to try out the yoga studio on a day I had more time, but based off the terrible experience I had with the café there will be no chance I ever go back. My sandwich was bland/soggy and the latte was lukewarm (not sure how that's even possible). I rightfully complain to the cashier who was extremely rude to me for no apparent reason, I proceed to ask for her manager, which she responds: "I am the manager and owner". Are you kidding me? Sorry, not sorry for complaining about your terrible food - where you really lost my business though was the condescending and downright degrading attitude. I've worked in the food industry and customer service since I was 16. I've worked as a barista, as well as a server in a wide range of restaurants and in a few direct customer service positions. I know how to treat a customer and be professional. Maybe I caught this woman on a bad day, maybe she was PMSing-I don't know, but regardless of how your personal day is going when you run a business being professional comes first. Period. I'm so disappointed in this establishment, like I said I was really excited to try the studio out but after the lack of basic customer service skills I'll never be back.

What a great place to practise Yoga! The space is very peaceful, the Yogi's are very professional and teach at all levels. The cafe downstairs is a fun place to grab a coffee/tea drink, have a snack and just hang out. The owners often show local artists works on the bright pink walls :) Don't forget to take a selfi against the pink wall :)
