What used to be a Mexican restaurant called “Judy’s Place’ in town to the locals couple years back now is called ‘Crockett Cocina’. This place and food is outstanding. I was browsing yelp and saw this on my radar. I had to check it out in person to see based on their ratings. I arrived here with my dad for an early dinner date. Street parking is available. Though the space is small, the place is clean. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family owned restaurant from the looks and how they act around their customers. I give my props to the chefs, they sure know how to cook it up haha! The pasta was filling and the bread that came with it was soft & crispy. The HouseMade Cioppino with the bread to dip in was to die for lol. And the churros was quite a lot but homemade makes it special! Churros we’re soft and crunchy, came with chocolate & caramel syrup, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was great, I’m sure I’ll be back for another visit!

Local family owned casual place to eat. Daily specials, very resonable priced and served fresh. Hardworking, good people.

Came to Crockett just to eat here and was not disappointed. Fish & Chips had a nice light breading instead of the usual heavy battered types. Go here instead of Dead Fish! A big piece of fish on a generous pile of fries (with garlic option!). Also enjoyed the house green salad made with fresh baby greens. It was busy as the kids from the school next door were having their lunch break, but the kitchen filled the orders fast. The space is simple, the staff friendly and the prices very reasonable.

First time at this wonderful place. My co workers from Home Depot, Told me That. If you want to eat at a place that makes you feel like home and welcomed come here. Let me tell you I love my first experience here. The food is at 100 percent, the workers and even the owner introduced themselves to my family and myself. I find that really professional.

Clam chowder is amazing, their pastas are great, and even the breakfast is something to go for. They roast coffee from Mexico with a unique and tasty flavor. Small inside but cozy, they also have a patio to enjoy your food. The service was great, very nice and hospitable owners. Hats off to the chef and cooks, they know what they're doing! Great mom and pop addition to Crockett!!

Round Two of Crockett Cocina Review Two days after having Crockett Cocina I had return to try out the Fresh Clam Chowder. I will say that their Clam Chowder surely tops Boudin Bakery which also surprises me because they offer it in a bread bowl. I did love the Clam Chowder that was served at Crockett Cocina. Even the bread that was offer with the Clam Chowder was good! I can see Crockett Cocina being the place to be at when you are in Crockett even if you live there or visting. It is a nice establishment that can flourish with people returning for more food from this place. Keep up the good work Crockett Cocina!

Hidden gem and a MAJOR win for Crockett. Former chef from the Deadfish started this restaurant and has outdone himself. Incredibly great food, fresh ingredients, and the most beautiful family run restaurant I've ever been to. They know their regulars by name and welcome the first-time visitors like they've known them for years. We had them cater my sons wedding and it turned out to be the best food that any of our guests had ever had at a wedding. Again, this is a true hidden gem that is always surpassing or expectations every time we eat there. BTW, all their breakfast options are spectacular.

I've been following on Facebook for quite some time but haven't tried anything. I saw the Churros posted and thought it was a great idea for Christmas Eve. I decided to go give them a try before ordering two dozen for the holiday. My husband and I got the 4 pack, beautiful presentation, came with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces, some powdered sugar on top and a strawberry cut like a rose. First, I ate the strawberry - it tasted just like an ONION. I nearly threw up. Move on to the Churros and we were SO DISAPPOINTED. They were rock hard in some spots and way too CRUNCHY. There was absolutely zero flavor besides oil. Couldn't taste any cinnamon or sugar, the batter, nothing. My fingers didn't even get dusty from the sugar, it wasn't sticking to the Churros. Huge disappointment and definitely won't return for anything else.
