My family and I spent the holiday here. We had a great time. The room was nice and clean and very spacious. The lady in front office was really nice and professional. Also the maintenance guy was really helpful with firewood and helped get it going. I will be definitely come back here next time we come up to the mountains.

It feels like druggies live here. Half the people staying here are long term residents. Screaming coming from the rooms. It's not the same as it was years ago. Better management in the past. Skip your stay here, you'll be glad you did.

The positives with Sleepy Hollow:The customer service. I was confused about my booking through a third party site. My invoice said "charged" but apparently nothing was charged and I had to drum up $260 for one night in a one bedroom cabin. They were patient with me. They could see I was flustered with two small children. They let me in, cleaned up my Cheerios I spilled in the parking lot because I pulled the cereal bag out upside down. They also gave me a lighter for the fireplace and showed me how to use the remote. They were never snarky with me when others could have easily. They are very close to gas and food, and Santa's village. The bed was cozy and it was clean. Now, the negatives:I had just come from Hicksville where, for a little less, we enjoyed a wacky resort. Now I was paying a little more for a small cabin with views of concrete and a parking lot.I couldn't get the fireplace to work after two hours. We used up all our paper and even exhausted the lighter. The whole reason I got the cabin was for a fire. So we had a cold, dark night. (Guessing the wood was wet). The remote only worked from an arms length so anytime you want to change the channel, you have to stand about a foot from the TV. Also, it is standard cable so it was either SVU or Horrible Bosses playing on loop.I left feeling I had paid more than double for what I should have. This is par for the course in Big Bear/Rim of the World. I have never found a cabin I liked there. The search shall continue!P.S. The hotel itself will give you a better deal if you avoid third party booking sites like Booking.com/Priceline.

We had a lovely little stay and enjoyed the town/grounds so much! Incredibly close to the lake, record store, and shops/eats in town. Only cons were that the heat in our room was broken, which we were not alerted about prior and the soaps/toilet paper were of a slightly lower quality that what we would've hoped for.

Fantastic experience. We stayed here for a wedding in early October and absolutely loved it! The rooms were clean, beds were great and we all had a great time. Definitely will go back if I'm ever in the area.

You sign a contract to pay 1/2 the room rate up front and the other half upon arrival. The owner took the other half off my card 2 weeks before I arrived. This is highly unprofessional. I had to fight to get my money back so I could pay my bills. Buyer beware. The employees I dealt with were nice, though.

This place was great! We spent our wedding night here. It was so incredible special. The staff allowed us to check in at a later time and they decorated our room so cute with balloons and wine! Definitely a place we will go to every year to celebrate our anniversary. Wish we stayed the whole weekend! Our cabin was the gray squirrel, which was all the way in the back. The views were beautiful! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend staying here when visiting the lake or Crestline.

Very cute place. Our wedding party took up much of the facility, management, especially Katie, made our grandson and his bride's day special with extra little touches. They were very accommodating with the inevitable last minutes changes. Our room was spacious, with a cozy feeling. Very comfortable beds.Walkability: Walking distance to downtown Crestline and Lake Gregory.

When we went to check in we were told that our room was not available so they switched us to something else. I actually had made the reservation a month in advance. It was expecting a certain room. Anyway, the room we ended up getting was nothing spectacular. The lighting was terrible. The blinds had no curtains over them so the sun came in and illuminated the whole room. So it was not dark at all. I feel like hotel/motel should have a dark room if you're feeling like sleeping in the day. Anyway, one of the people in our group didn't feel well and got sick and messed up some of the bedding. They charged us $100 for cleaning and then the next day charge another $200. Their policy clearly states that they will only charge $50 to $200 for additional cleaning and damages. They tried to charge us for all the bedding and all the towels in the place. And those were not all damaged or messed up. If they get your credit card they're going to charge you extra stuff whether you messed it up or not. I feel like it was a ripoff. The location is not bad. It's close to everything in Crestline. The pool was kind of gross.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I absolutely love this place. We booked out probably 75% of the rooms and cabins available for my son's wedding. The cabinets were genuinely nice and well kept. My wedding guests that stayed in the rooms were also incredibly pleased with how their rooms were kept and available for them at check-in time. All these things are great, but what made my experience her top notch was Katie! She. Is. Amazing!! Katie went above an beyond at every step. My wife had called several times booking room, shuffling guest from room to room and Kaite was instrumental in getting everyone in the rooms/cabins that were best suited for their needs, we had 1 cabin with the bridal party, a couple cabins for our other kids and our grandkids. She was very attentive to use anything we needed we got right away. She made sure everyone had the parking passes they needed and showed us where the overflow parking was. We had last minute guest that Katie took great care of and made sure everyone was happy. My son and Daughter-in-law were so happy they even invited her to come celebrate with us at the wedding and she showed up which made everyone incredibly happy!! She also had some unique gifts put in the bride and grooms’ room which was definitely above, and beyond, which made it even more memorable and special! My wife and I will definitely come back and stay just to visit Katie again. She is truly an asset to this company!!

Linda and I spent last weekend in Crestline, CA on the ocassion of the wedding of our grandchild. There were 16 in our party; and we took many of the rooms and bungalows on their property. We had an extraordinary time! The rooms had microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers. The bungalows also had stoves. Despite being in town; once on the property, we felt very much much "in the woods." Yes, it is an older renovated property, but each bungalow had a distinctive and comfortable character. The best part was the staff.Katie, an on-site manager, could not do enough to make everyone comfortable and "at-home".She helped orchestrate the immediate replacement of a defective airconditioner, for example.Try Tony's Kitchen nearby for excellent mexican food. [They also have a couple of vegan options.]The St. Moritz wedding venue was outstanding!Rooms: Older renovated vut charming with characterFood & drinks: Nearby restaurantsNoteworthy details: Katie, the helpful and friendly resident manager.
