“The best spot in voe or Crestline to grab a bite now that the main grocery is gone. Danny has a microwave for your use after you buy frozen foods or pastries. Good freezer selection especially for a small store.”
“Its an experience here, from having to loan the cart a quarter to use down to bagging your own groceries. its always a hit or miss with the store, if you go early before opening there is always a line if eager shoppers waiting for the doors to open. Do you guys remember that old Mervyn's commercial what's the lady waiting for the store to open flashing her hands at the door saying Open open open open open open open yeah these are those people. The customers are always nice enough to give you their cart when they are done if your short a quarter. The sales aren't bad but it's definitely first come first serve as they run out quickly. I do like how they constantly changing what they have in stock. But I think the best thing about the store is the security guard. This woman is always in a good mood always happy always smiling and always puts a smile on my face. Her great attitude is contagious!!”
“This place is just more and more convenient! They are known by everyone for their meat counter and check cashing. Management or ownership seems to remain the same throughout the years. Their employees have become familiar faces and always make sure customers are happy. They expanded the store some time ago and you can find basically anything you need there. Its your all in one stop from grocery, refrigerated goods, snacks galore in the candy isle, beer, sports attire/accessories, socks, tshirts, mexican health and beauty as well as well- being products, blankets, designer fragrances, birthday n party supplies, basic daily needs and sundries. Prices are also fair i must say!!! Its also very well stocked and a much needed part of our community. Parking lot may be busy and traffic is expected but well worth your business!”

“Of all the Stater Brothers I have been to, this is the cleanest one thus far and I visited to at least 10 locations. When I first moved to the Ranch, I wanted to make sure there was a supermarket close by in the community. Back in 2019, I met the store manager, who was well into 25 years plus with Staters. He greeted everyone who walked thru those doors. He knew just about everyone who came thru that store. Very friendly and gave the big store community service vibe. The produce are always fresh and so were the meats and cuts.I must say that I can depend on this location to provide the best service every day.”

“They seem to always be open when I need them. They are conveniently located when you forget to get gas in-town and our commuting to Hesperia or the 15 freeway. Gas prices are reasonable and the store generally has basic staples just in case. Restroom is usually cleans. No wait at the pumps.”
“A leader in fine retail grocery management. And that comes from working and shopping in supermarkets on both East and West coasts. There's ALWAYS a good feeling here, and during Snowmaggedon (Feb. 2023), this location was the lifeblood for everyone in the area and surrounding towns. It's several components, but credits to the staff, especially. And the presentation: FACED OFF row upon row in any aisle first thing in the morning. To-do point for a short docu-skit for a young film credit? That's the staff: fun folks who are happy being there. The store reflects it.”

The owner gets the best quality even if at times he barely breaks even, and doesn’t up charge his customers. My son asked if we could get their meat every other week. Hell yes we can”

“Now it's very hard to write a review for a grocery store because what do you say, I came there ... got my groceries ... it was good. And most of the time, if you do see a review on the grocery store it's because someone was angry and left a bad one just because something without a place or someone had a bad experience. Most people never post good reviews about the time that they had at the grocery store. With that being said, I have to say at this Stater Bros there are two employees that always make my day great. One of them is Mr. Johnny, I think he's a cashier always in the front or at least. I always see him in the front And the other is a young lady whose name I don't know, so I'll just call her Miss Positive. Both of these employees are always so energetic and friendly It almost feels like Stater Bros started using the same process to hire people as chick fil and starbucks ........... Watch out Vons, Stater Bros is stepping up”

“What would otherwise be a seven star review, and with all due respect to people who legitimately need service dogs and have gone through the applicational process to access that support, there were pet dogs everywhere at Goodwin and sons today. It was actually out of control. Out of the 10 dogs that I saw in the store, maybe two were legitimate service animals. One guy just straight up had two dogs in his shopping cart. No service dog harnesses, etc. It’s very unhealthy and unsanitary. And it really distracted from otherwise good experience. I really hope they get the out of control pet situation under control soon.”
