Pet Care
Crescent Animal Medical Center
1590 Northcrest Dr, Crescent CityDr. Mark is truly exceptional – the kind of veterinarian every pet owner dreams of finding. Over the past year, he's cared for our multiple cats and dog with incredible skill and compassion. Recently, he went above and beyond to save our cat Poppy, who was critically ill. He kept her under his care for six days, working overtime and through the weekend to nurse her back to health, while keeping us thoroughly informed every step of the way.
His lifetime dedication to veterinary medicine shows in every interaction – from routine checkups to emergency situations. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and treats both animals and their humans with genuine care and respect. His background as a former Hollywood studio vet adds to his wealth of experience, but it's his heart for animals that truly sets him apart.
The entire staff is wonderful, and their pricing is more than fair for the exceptional level of care provided. We couldn't recommend Dr. Mark more highly to any pet owner in the area. He's simply the best vet we've ever had.

Schmidt's House of Jambalaya
110 Anchor Way, Crescent CityCajun in Crescent City wasn't our original plan but it was delicious and hit the spot on a cold, windy day. Food seems to be quality, made from scratch though rather portioned and pricey. Service was excellent.

Port O'Pints Brewing Co.
1215 Northcrest Dr, Crescent CityAs a historian and author, I had a great experience visiting Port O' Pints restaurant! The building itself doesn't stand out much, but oh my, once you're in the building the ambiance is amazing. Friendly staff, good people, and an ongoing bingo game in the back! I love the decor around the place. I had a cider and oktoberfest pint with an Irish pizza. The pizza was a new taste - delicious. Great job guys and gals! Sincerely, Daniel L.
