I had called them multiple times trying to get an appointment set up it had taken about 4 or 5 days to get in contact with me. I had left multiple messages with them and stopped by multiple times it is a ghost town over there.

Years of various reasons for contacting them, Danielle seemed to always be the person that contacted me when I first contacted them years ago, so I ended up saving Her info in my cell, so she was the only one I ever remember having contact with but, she always showed me that she cared & was concerned about the cat I was calling about whether it was a possible lost pet or a feral. And unfortunately Crescent City has 100s of them! I can't imagine her volunteering for anyplace that wasn't excellent with cats!

I cannot believe I can only leave 5 stars! The folks deserve so much more for what they do! All of the staff and volunteers were very helpful. They expedited my application for my Lucy! I was able to bring her home with me to Louisiana. I am sure I will be forever grateful and Lucy is too. They literally saved her life. She is living in the lap of luxury now... thanks guys!

Wonderful people, VERY caring for animals. They deserve the Nobel Prize!!! Low cost spay/ clinics and they will work with people who need help with the cost of fixing your cat. So there is NO good excuse not to spay your pet.

They got me in on a short notice to get my new kitten spayed when all vets in town and brookings were booked up. Very nice people.

Really like the hard working volunteers at the Humane Society. They have always treated me well when I have dealt with them. Can tell they love animals. When I had 8 cats spayed/neutered, they worked with me on payments. I appreciate them a lot.

2 Years ago, I got my first cat, Sophia, there. A month later we came back to get her a brother, Ramsey. Last month a kitten jumped thru our window and wouldn't leave. I made an appointment at the vet to get our new boy, Deuce, fixed and shots ... Over $160. Called DN Humane Society. Got him fixed, shots, deworming...only $60. Thank you volunteers, SO MUCH!! My neighbors went for 2 kittens. I will talk you peeps up, always. ?☘️?
