“On my way and decided a bed and shower would be a bonus. Tv double :)I looked online and found what I typically do, a nicer place that off season has lower rates. This area along the coast has many. This is that. A very nice room. Clean. Up kept and overall just nice.Nice covered parking right outside my door. Restaurant across the street. Beach or scenic parking right on beach level is about 1/4 mile. 3 min.A nice spot to stay along the way.I did notice that what I saw on the official website said 59$ with tax and fees and my total was 68$ but not complaining at all.I likely didn’t read enough fine print.Anyway, overall impression after checking in. ??????Noteworthy details: If you go to their official website and make reservations. Use promo code: UniqueWill save you 10$ a day…. :)??”

“Wonderful place to spend the night! Room was in great, clean condition. Large and comfortable bed, with nice windows to let in the fresh forest air. Easy check-in and check-out (thank you, Kevin!)”

“The service is amazing at this little seaside hotel. The breakfast was good too. It is an old hotel so very dated but has a charm to it and great location.I actually left my wedding ring in the room on accident and they shipped it back home for me. It rolled under the night stand and they found and got it back to me. Can’t thank the staff for being so kind and helpful during and after the stay”

“Beautiful location with wonderfully helpful staff. This was the perfect place to stop on our way down to Universal. The staff offered recommendations about food, 101 driving, and even offered to carry our stuff up the stairs to our room. Our only complaint was that the floors were tacky. Not tacky as in ugly, but tacky as in sticky. It almost felt wet. The room was also pretty damp. We also weren’t fully expected more a motel-style with outdoor entrances. However, it felt safe enough. My kids want me to write that the pillows were awesome. The bathroom was clean. Overall a good stay. Our room was also massive. Not sure if they are all like that, but the room could fit two normal hotel rooms in it.”

“Dit motel is echt top! Het ligt direct naast het park aan de zee. De kamer was klein maar heel gezellig, kleurrijk, sfeervol en schoon. Een van de eerste keren in een motel dat niet bij een grote keten hoort en dat verschil merk je. Er zit veel liefde in de inrichting van de kamer, je krijgt een ouderwetse sleutel voor de deur en de service is persoonlijk en authentiek.”

“As usual here, staff at Best Westerns are professional and courteous. Beds were good. I'd stay here again if ever in the area. Road noise and other noises drowned out by running the heat pump fan on low.”

“Decent affordable room, and friendly front desk service. The area the motel is in is a bit sketchy so I don't recommend leaving anything valuable in your car. Some things in the room were damaged and dated, but it was clean over all, with no bugs or pests anywhere. It was also very quiet, and the split system kept the room nice and warm all night.”

“Great value for what we paid on a trip to see the redwoods! Room was very clean, very spacious and had recently been remodeled - only downside was that the beds were a bit on the firm side for us. Otherwise, a great room! Breakfast was as expected for a Super 8 - nothing fancy, but was still good! If you’re in the area, give this place a try! We were very pleased!Rooms: Room was very clean and had been recently remodeled. Room was also very large - beds were a bit firm, but otherwise was a very nice room for our family.Food & drinks: Breakfast was as to be expected from a Super 8: cereal, instant oatmeal, muffins, toast, waffle maker, yogurt and fruit”

“My husband and I travel all over for work and we don't often get a chance to brag on a hotel. Most leave a lot to be desired. The Motel 6 in Crescent, CA. is not only clean, and well priced, the staff was AMAZING! Tracey and Gina sure we had everything we need and were great company!”

“This was our first time in Crescent CIty, California. We knew that this would be the perfect spot to serve as our homebase for our little trip. The Hotel is quiet and with an amazing view. There is a lighthouse within walking distance. And plenty of beach combing. All rooms face the ocean with a balcony. The elevator is small but plenty of room for a person with scooter or wheelchair and another person. When travelling, I envision my Grandma is with me and assess with ADA specifics. Downstairs there is a small restaurant with pretty good clam chowder.”
