“It's not a bad little store, but it does need a little work if it wants to improve. I very much appreciate what they've done to help the community. I think the homeless population appreciates it the most. Please keep it up.”

“This little Store/Market has everything you need, without going into town. tThe two Sisters that run this. Market or sisters are very very nice ladies. This little market is very competitive with other markets, little more money, but you know you save gas and time shopping. I would highly recommend this Market if u are traveling past or a local.”

“Crescent City was our home base during our 6-day visit to the Redwoods. We decided to make most of our meals at home instead of going out, so we went shopping for food. We had a rather unpleasant experience at the local Walmart with panhandlers swarming shoppers and an overall bleh shopping experience. Not to sound hoity-toity or anything, but the clientele seemed worse than the usual Walmarts I've visited around the nation. I did not feel safe and would not have wanted to shop there as a solo female; especially not at night. It was refreshing, needless to say, when we went to the Safeway and the first thing we saw was a store employee confronting a panhandler and demanding that they leave the property. The store employees were very friendly and the other shoppers never made me feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I'd still be on guard as a solo female shopper, but much less than the alternative. Also, the produce and food selections were solid. If you're staying in Crescent City and would like a safer shopping option, I'd recommend Safeway.”

“Went there to pickup some chicken for lunch & was pleasantly surprised they had choices...Fried, Habanero & grilled. Loved the Habanero, my choice going forward. The store is always clean & the self serve registers made it super fast..Sadly chicken family meals are no longer offered, you want sides.. they are Ala cart & a lil pricey.. the chicken Individual meals are the only ones that come with sides..”
