This used to be a great pharmacy location. Things started going downhill during the pandemic. I was understanding, I was managing a retail store and understood supply chain issues and employee issues. The issue is we're now well past that and every month something else is wrong with my prescriptions. Dates get scattered for no discernible reason. Things on auto-refill get taken off auto-refill. Every month staff gives me a different reassurance that things are fixed. Every month they are not. We're at a point where I check the website for my refill updates and request refills when I see one wasn't processed and it still doesn't get processed. When I asked why some of my meds are getting auto filled and others are not I am told vaguely of some state law but the employee is unable to explain why this law applies to some of my medications but not others. I don't know if this is just a problem for this location or a systematic problem that's impacting all locations, but I'm about ready to take my prescription business elsewhere. My dad had his meds moved there recently after the local Rite Aid closed. He'd been having the prescriptions filled with Rite Aid with no issues for many years. As soon as they got moved to Walgreens he started having issues with his prescriptions getting refilled. Until things get sorted out I cannot recommend this location to anyone with any chronic conditions or ongoing prescriptions.

Ever since rite aid closed down this pharmacy is a nightmare, two times I've come I've been waiting an hour to get my medication. I will no longer use this pharmacy.

One star shopping for loved ones must be pain when staff rather talk; instead of take your item to the front. Feel sorry for rite aid customers up the street better for to cvs more compassionate.

This afternoon I stopped in this Walgreens, Nikki took wonderful care of my needs. The store had a very positive feel, the service was excellent.

I just received a follow up call from Bryce the Walgreens store manager regarding my recent experience at the pharmacy. He was very professional and apologetic and assured me that he had discussed my visit with the staff. I have been a longtime customer at this location and never had any issues and even considered deleting my post but decided to leave it to show that if you have an issue, it will be addressed swiftly and professionally. I really appreciate it that he took the time to rectify the situation.

Called in my prescription refill, they said "ok" and hung up the phone so I came in to get it but the wait time is forever. Why aren't y'all giving the eta over the phone before you hang up? Don't even say bye, or see you soon? Honestly so rude ?? And incompetent??

Very poor customer service at all aspects of this business.. this place makes me sad! Covina deserves better. Pharmacy used to be good! Oh well patronage your local privately owned pharmacy first.

I had a wonderful experience at the Walgreens. The pharmacist went out of her way to update my profile (apparently So Cal and No Cal are on different systems). so I could get free Covid test thru Medicare so I could see my elderly mom.

This is the worst drug store I have ever dealt with, wait on hold for 10 minutes just to have someone hang up on you, call back and the same thing again and again.

Staff here had no sense about their work. One staff told us they have covid vaccine for our 5 year old, and demand us to made an appointment on the app first and they take the shot, so we did. After setting everything up and we’re ready to take the shot, another staff came out said they actually don’t have the vaccine. We wasted 30 mins here.

Just wanted to say, I have to thank Bryce the manager here at this Walgreens. For three days I had tried to contact by phone, the pharmacy department to have prescriptions refilled for my mother. After being put on hold by an automated system and no one ever coming back on, I finally contacted the store itself and spoke with Bryce. He was extremely helpful, very polite, and he himself went back to the pharmacy department and logged into the system and helped me get my mothers order filled. I don't live near my mother, so everything was by phone but he was such a great help. Perhaps the pharmacy department needs more staffing especially this season with colds, flus and Covid. The pharmacy should be well staffed. Thank you again Bryce for all your help. Outstanding customer service.

Worst Walgreens ever. Went in to get a vaccine and the staff in pharmacy had no idea what was going on.. was waiting for like 30 min when I had an appointment. Terrible service.
