The folks at Sunny Components could not have been better to work with. Prompt and kind service, and went beyond expectations to ship a package out within a few hours of receiving the order online. Highly recommended. Many thanks!

A source for ultra high end audio gear. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. Don't underestimate the importance of the dealer's advice if you have plans to start or upgrade a top quality audio system.

I made a simple order through their website for next day delivery. The next day I return a phone call from them. The guy starts asking me where I work and personal info. Then tells me my credit card didn't go through and that I should wire him the money. I tell him I'll check with my bank and get back to him. I check the bank site and see the charge did go through. I call the store back and told them I can see the charge on my card, and he tells me because the money hasn't cleared into his bank account, I should wire him the money. The whole thing sounded very sketchy. I told him to cancel the order and refund my card. I'm waiting now to make sure that happens. Either these guys are sketchy, or they don't understand how credit merchant accounts work. Either way I wouldn't deal with a company this odd and with such poor interaction with the customer. I just made my purchase through another company, no hassle. Even save almost $200 by going to JaguarAudio instead.

I have been delighted with the products I have bought at Sunny's, AND with the technical support I have received, AND with the healthy philosophy of respect toward music that Sunny shows his customers. I have purchased speakers, a Stewart screen, a Sony projector, and a media player from his store, and all equipment performs flawlessly. Sunny is always willing to let me spend time auditioning his equipment, even those dreamy items that are beyond my price range. The staff is polite, makes every effort to please, and is patient with my many questions. I highly recommend this store if you are serious about recorded sound.

Sunil knows his HiFi. He spends more time than anyone I know testing the equipment he sells to assure compatability and enjoyment in your space. If you care about your system and having a high level of service this is your place in Covina.

It's a store with horrible acoustics inside an Industrial Storage unit area. The acoustics there won't be representative of anything like your home acoustic environment so nothing you hear there is indicative of what you may hear at home. Very pushy sales people, they really don't want to let you leave without buying something even if it is really not the right thing for your home acoustics , or is incompatible with your existing system. Don't expect them to make systems with any synergy here. They carry mostly brands that at one time were great, but have recent designs that don't have any of the soil ability of the "Classic" pieces that made the company famous in the first place. Like for instance Audio Research was once "voiced' very well when there were not transistors in the signal path. Now all the amplifiers have FETs (Field Effect Transistors) in the path and these transistors act like subtractive filters such that these tube amplifiers sound very much like cold sterile non resolving solid state electronics. A pity since Audio Research was such a great push pull pentode amplifier that was close to Class A in sound for a push pull amp. Now they are not the best of both worlds, but they have the short comings of both, having high running costs of tube electronics and the sterility and inaccurate abrasive over staccato extended highs and lower midrange subtractive harmonics of solid state gear. A shame for such an AMAZING American company. After many visits to Sunnys and talking for hours with Sunneil , I have yet to hear a believable system , and the sound he achieved for over $200,000 can be easily beaten baby well chosen systems of about $35,000. I can not recommend this merchant to any audiophile except for the more gullible novice audiophiles who want something that looks impressive and is loud but fails to be emotionally involving. It is truly an Emperor has no clothes type of place.

Outstanding store. Excellent customer service. They carry many of the best high end brands. I purchased a pair of Egglestonworks Evo speakers in custom Ferrari red. Super happy with my purchase and I trust these guys now. They are legit and no BS. My speakers were on the lower end of what they carry, but they treated me great. Even delivered and help set up the speakers. If you're serious about high-fi, you owe to yourself to visit this store. I would give more than 5 stars, if I could. Just a great over all experience.

Sunil Merchant, the owner knows high end audio stuff inside and out. He's a wilson audio dealer and other high end brands. His showroom is huge with demo units available for auditioning. Once you get to know him and purchased some products, he'll let you auditioned AV stuff to bring home.

I recently bought a VPI Turntable from Scott at Sunny's. To say that I'm impressed would be a gross understatement. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. I was skeptical, as many people would be when buying a used component. I was even more worried because I actually live across the country in upstate South Carolina. Would they stand behind a used item? Would they even pick up the phone if I had a problem? Well the day came and my turntable arrived. Excitedly I unpacked everything and couldn't find the drive belt. I called Scott and without missing a beat he said he'd get one in the mail that day and better still he'd ship it priority. I got everything hooked up and to my disappointment the table had a terrible ground fault hum. I got on the phone with Scott again and before I could finish my sentence he stopped me and said he was going to send a shipping label to return the turntable. He was genuinely concerned that I'd had trouble. When he asked if there was anything else I might be interested in I told him that I had really had my eye on a VPI Scout 1.1 and I might be willing to pay the difference if we could negotiate a fair price. Within two hours I had my answer. He talked with VPI to get me a great deal and arranged to have it drop shipped directly to me to save time. He also offered me the Sumiko Pearl cartridge that he'd sent with the Traveler. I'm enjoying my new Scout as I'm typing this and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. A huge thank you to Scott and the team at Sunny's. I'm on the other side of the country but when I need some new speakers you'll be the first place I call. Your customer service is a breath of fresh air in a world where very few take pride in their work. Thank you

Great shop. I met them at The High End Show this summer. I was really impressed with how friendly and welcoming they were - much more comfortable to talk to than most of the other vendors. We dropped by their store a week or so later and were even more impressed - what a great company to work with. We made a couple of purchases and this will be our go-to dealer for high quality A/V in the future.
