I wanted to support this small business. Went in to get measurements done. Just measurements. I would have paid and tipped for his time. I encountered a bitter and rude old man who was apparently having a real bad day. I believe this gentleman is not a real tailor as he has limited knowledge and how to take full body measurements. I'm surprised he can make rent on the space his shop occupies based on his personality. To say he was rude was understatement. Even when we spoke Spanish to him he got heated and aggressive. Proper measurements include arm span, neck, pant length, etc. not just waist and shoulders. His reaction when I asked for more measurements was nothing short of a childlike melt down. It was just measurements. I believe he's a fraud who only does limited tailoring. Had I known I had to question his expertise, I would never had bothered him. I pray he finds a growth mindset to get past his inability to service customers. His attitude was unfortunately contagious. Beware of this guy. He's definitely going throw some heavy stuff but the public shouldn't have suffer through his mental issues. I pray that God blesses his heart with the kind of patience and compassion required to run a successful business. As it stands he is an awful human being who quite frankly got caught impersonating a real tailor.

I've been coming to Michael's store for years, and he's is impeccable at his craft. Attentive, patient, friendly, and most affable. I wish more people worked with the same level of professionalism and precision as Michael (Miguel) does. Needed my son's vest to be altered, quickly. I took him in, got him fitted and I picked it up when I needed it. Quick service, perfect fit and the right price.

I rarely need alterations but the few times I have been here the experience has been great. In fact, my daughter needed a maid of honor dress fixed a day before her sister's wedding. We took the dress late on the evening and it was completed the next morning even before their normal schedule opening time. Awesome service

Michael is the absolute best. All my suits have come from Hamiltons. I've also brought dress shirts and pants here to be altered. He's a great guy and great local spot here in Covina. Important to support our local businesses.
