At least one employee named “Rod” had misrepresented a vehicle for sale. He refused to honor his word and I lost $4000 despite numerous personal and legal attempts to allow him to make it right. I won the small claims case but he refuses to respond. DO NOT do business with this man or anyone who hires him.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLASSIC CAR TO THIS SHOP. Wish we could rate with ZERO. The owner/mechanic has no clue what he is doing beyond a simple oil change. We are in the mist of still fixing things that should have been taken care of in the first place and already in repairs for over $20k+ to fix all the half-a##, Mickey Mouse work he did on one of our two beautiful classic cars. This is after it was built, return to the Garage to fix things and getting it back with even more wrong with it. It looks great on the outside, but within the body, engine, undercarriage it is a mess of safety things that could of resulted in an accident. Things that should have been checked & fixed prior to releasing the vehicle back to the customer were never done (really, no windshield wipers or a working parking brake?!?). Did I mention we'd already put in almost $50k to build it in the first place?!? And this was not a one-time occurrence... we made the mistake of giving them two of our classics. The second classic was in there for many years, always with the promise of 'it is almost done...', 'only need to do this or that'. Well, as you can imagine we got it back in a worst state than it was in. It literally looks as though it was left in the weeds: filthy grease caked along undercarriage, no driver's window (broken by them, windows were fine when we left it with them), no power-steering unit (paid & brought for), lights/turn signals not hooked up (wires hanging beneath front end), paint chipped and spider webbing, missing trimming, no windshield wipers, no license plate bracket, the list goes on and on. All of this is not shocking in the slightest due to the fact that most of that was missing or screwed up on our other classic. This place has no problem taking your money (over and over), they simple don't return your phone call, & hope you go away &/or forget that your car is sitting in the weeds somewhere out back. If you have your classic car there, get it out (NOW!!) and pray that all the parts are there.

ZERO STARS!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLASSIC CAR TO THIS BUTCHER SHOP. Our nightmare continues. How this shop is still in business is beyond comprehension. (Especially given that their business license is expired and delinquent). After demanding that our 63 Corvette stingray be produced within 30 days the corvette was delivered on a flatbed (that they wanted us to arrange...). The undercarriage was filthy, as was expected given it was left to rot in the weeds with a broken window (that they broke), in the elements with what was once a brand new (although crappy paint job, also done by an associate of the owner). From the beginning it was obvious that the parts were just thrown onto the body (emblems setting on top of the body), no gas cap, license plate frame missing, no lights, no turn signals, no brake lights, headlight buckets not hooked up; and one would not come up due to bad body work. All parts that were on the car prior to leaving it at the shop for repairs. Before sending it to a respectable mechanic/body shop to try to salvage the car over $800 in parts were needed to be purchased (Update: Additional parts cost to date is over $3K). This was to be only the beginning as it was 5x worse than anyone could see on the surface. Once we started to dismantle the body/engine we found: antifreeze sucked into & through the motor resulting in rotty spots, flywheel was not torque down, & loose bolts everywhere. Oil in motor was black as coal and had metal parts in it. Bearings are crap, mismatch heads (305 heads on 350). The block itself was barely salvageable & WAS NOT what was bought and paid for. The transmission had NO OIL & the clutch was burnt to a crisp. The icing on the cake... this corvette WAS a STOCK 63 Corvette Stingray. Was being the keyword, Rodney L. Philhower, head mechanic/co-owner of the Garage took the engine, claims to have put in a new engine that he proceeded to blow-up because he over did it & took the original transmission from the corvette replacing it with a pieced together, junkyard engine and transmission from a T10 FORD TRANSMISSION !! He took a stock transmission from a corvette and replaced it with crap. Where the original, stock parts remains a mystery. Though, not surprising as it is a page out of his father's book. It's true what they say, rotten apples do not fall far from the proverbial tree. Buyer BEWARE.
