My catalytic converter was stolen from my NV 200 Dec 2022, I looked at several muffler shops and visited a few just to get a vibe on reliability and price. I eventually selected this muffler shop and I highly recommend Ed's Carburetor and Muffler shop. Very good customer service, fair price and very knowledgeable. A+ 5 stars and all!

My 2017 Nissan NV 200 catalytic converter was stolen Dec 30th, 2022. I live in Covina and googled several muffler shops went to several shops just to get a vibe on the place. Ed's carburetor and muffler shop...right here in Covina. Ed was so helpful, understanding fair and professional. He helped me get me back on the road and worked at a pace that was great. I highly recommend this place.

Took an older 4 barrel carb here off my 72 Maverick and Ed got it Cleaned up and running like new. Also said if it doesn't run right to bring it back and he'll adjust it. Great work would recommend.

I have a jeep yj and have been having trouble with the carburetor, i gave Ed a call and he said right away to bring it on down and he will take a look at it. when i arrived Ed greeted me very kindly and assured me that he he can have it done in little to know time. His prices are very reasonable and does not over charge or over estimate, he walked me through some of the potential problems and stayed in contact with me through the whole process. I have never experienced service like this and was very appreciative of the work he got done. My jeep is running better than ever!!

Brought my carburetor in and he rebuilt it and in 4 days i picked it up A+ service. 1988 Toyota Corolla FX 2bcarb. He left it better than brand new. If you need carburetor work take it to Ed immediately.

Took my 69 Chevy c20 in for a full tune up, it runs like it's brand new. All replacements came out successfully for a reasonable deal. I'd definitely bring my project cars to him if I ever need the help, Ed's shop is legit!

I really Recommend this spot for them to check your car and fix’s you’re car. someone else told me I needed a Cadillac converter I took it to edd’s he check it I told him I need a Cadillac converter he told me that would be 1,000 so he check the Cadillac converter and called me and said that’s not the problem so he told me I needed new spark plugs and coils only cost me $500 I saved a lot of money going here. I highly recommend coming here to bring your car.

I brought my VW to Ed at Fred's Carburetors in Covina, CA after he being recommended from a friend who said he got excellent service from him over the last 10 years. During my experience there, Ed had gave me great communication in diagnosing the problem clearly with my VW Vehicle. Within an hour he told me what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair it. Ed acted professionally and prompt in fixing my throttle body and intake manifold and tracking down a few electrical gremlins under my hood that when work was completed made my beloved VW run better overall with a bonus of better fuel economy. I'd recommend Ed at Fred's Carburetors in Covina for any Domestic or Import car that needs to be maintained, fixed, or made to run better at a fair price------R.J....Y se habla Espanol/Spanish
