Our reactive pup Otis has been thru a 3 week board and train last year and it was not a good experience at ALL , I was recommended to Ian and Dog on Fun by someone on the Nextdoor app, my family and I where in desperate need to help Otis overcome his fear driven anxiety and resource guarding of me and his mom , Otis stood at Dog on fun for 17 days , Ian trained every other day and Otis had activities every day at their fun zone, and fun it is ! I received photos daily from Dogs of fun and many many videos and pics from Ian while he was out training Otis , Ian took Otis to the park on many occasions, pet co and homedepot, places where we Otis' family never had to the confidence to do so. We are truly blessed and amazing on how well Ian helped Otis and how well Otis was treated at dogs on fun , this is going be long lasting relationship for us with Ian and Dogs of fun. When Otis first meet Ian , Ian was not able to go near him let alone pet him and let me tell ya the bond they share is amazing ! We have learned with Ian that having confidence, trust and with the right training any dog can overcome, we where at the point where we told our selves Otis will need to be rehome because a new family moved into our home , and with Otis' fears and setbacks we thought that was all we can do , but God lead us to Ian and Dog on fun and we all couldn't be more happier with the outcome ! Never give up on your pup no matter what the situation may look like , Ian has shown us that and Otis is different pup.

Boarding with Dog On Fun was fantastic. The team is extremely friendly and welcoming. This review though is to highlight Ian Ford. I am so grateful for having had Ian train our puppy. Not only is he extremely patient with the dogs he trains, but he goes above and beyond to take you on your dogs training journey. We left our dog there for 5 days and every single day we received pictures and videos of the great things he was doing with our Benny. I would not hesitate to either board or train our dog again with this team.

Five stars are based solely for IAN FORD, the AMAZING trainer at this facility, not boarding. I fostered and eventually adopted a dog for Delaney's Dog Rescue. They rescued a dog from the Shelter that was on the euthanasia list and had less than one day to live. The dog is a sweet, high drive dog that loves all humans but is problematic with all small creatures. Delaney's Dog highly recommended training from Ian and they were absolutely right! Ian is naturally gifted with animals, particularly with high drive, high energy breeds like German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. Ian has done wonders with my rescue dog and I would only consider boarding him at Dog on Fun because Ian is there. I trust Ian's skills and abilities so much! He has the most gentle demeanor and my dog bonded with him instantly! I will continue to use him for training! Thank you, Ian! You're the BEST!

I can't recommend Dog on Fun enough! Samantha and her team absolutely love dogs and know how to take care of them. I have a 106 lb German Shepherd who can be quite the handful, but they've had no problem with him. My dog also seems to really like them as well. Finally, the team there is very accommodating. I brought my dog here as I attended funeral services for my grandparents and they were able to organize an early drop off or late pick-up as I needed it. The entire team is extremely friendly and helpful, plus they know exactly what they're doing. You will not regret leaving your dog in their care.

My husband and I reached out to Dog on Fun to train our two out-of-control European Doberman brats :) They started to become aggressive with one another to the point we couldn't take them on walks without them fighting.During our initial orientation with Ian Ford, he saw how much they pulled, they were out-of-control, barking, and he recommended the "slip-leash" which we tried out. We noticed a difference, purchased the leash for both dogs, and immediately SIGNED UP for training sessions! We took them on walks with their slip-leash while providing corrections to prevent fighting. It was great.During our first training session, we introduced our dogs to the herm sprenger prong collar. Our dogs are about 100 pounds each, the prong collar provides immediate correction without hurting them. I tried it on myself because I wanted to make sure it was safe for them. Ian was informative about the prong collar and how it felt to my pups. I didn't feel any pressure from Ian about getting the prong collars. I'm glad that I did and happy with the results. We've completed three sessions with Ian and I'm happy to say we walk our dogs in our neighborhood on their prong collars without them pulling and barking. They listen to commands and we're learning about them as well. It's not 100% perfect but it's a work in progress that's showing. We've seen such a difference in so little time. Ian has even brought out a side of one of our dogs (who doesn't easily trust people) I've never seen before. I look forward to our continued sessions and the outcome.Ian is a great trainer and it shows. He analyzes your dog's behavior from the initial orientation and gently introduces techniques that work! He's not about over-pushing your dog and works on gaining their trust. He provides open communication via phone/text messaging so you can succeed. He goes out of his way to provide information, videos, sites, and activities that happen in the area for your dogs. He's economical. This experience has been great thus far, I can't complain about anything! Our dogs are happy and we're 100% satisfied and happy :) THANKS to Ian!

I've been taking my Boxers to Dog On Fun in Covina for overnight and extended stays, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Samantha and her team. Every time we visit, they welcome us with such professionalism and courtesy that it immediately puts me at ease. Samantha and her staff have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that my "kids" are well cared for, making it feel like I'm leaving them with family rather than at a boarding facility. The level of attention and genuine care they provide is truly exceptional. Whether a short overnight stay or a more extended vacation, I leave feeling comfortable and reassured, knowing my Boxers are in the best hands. Dog On Fun isn't just a boarding service; it's a home away from home for my pets. I highly recommend their services to pet owners who value peace of mind and outstanding care for their furry family members.

We had an extremely bad experience with boarding at.another place. I literally had no faith in boarding places. Well let me tell you. This place is amazing. Our dogs get.so excited when we say "Doggy Vacation ", because they know exactly where they are going. We love you and our digs love you too.

Full disclosure, I'm a relatively new dog mom! That said, I owe a great deal of thanks and praise to Dog on Fun! Samantha has been incredibly supportive, kind, and generous with her wealth of knowledge. My little guy has LOTS of energy and he LOVES going to daycare! He even starts getting excited when we head over! Sometimes he doesn't want to come home! ? I don't take it personally, though. It just signals to me that he enjoys his time with the caring staff members. I appreciate the time they take to meet his needs, to make sure the kennel is sanitary and clean, and to send back his food bowls squeaky clean! I can't imagine taking Cash anywhere else. They are an integral part of our village and I'm grateful for their services.

I can't say enough good things about Dog On Fun. We adopted our dog during covid, and she wasn't exposed to a lot of people or other dogs. I was very apprehensive about leaving her for our two-week trip to Japan. The owner, Samantha, reassured me and sent pictures throughout her stay. When we picked her up, she was bathed, happy and healthy. Even though there are closer boarding facilities, I will make the drive to Dog On Fun for any future boarding needs. Samantha and her staff are top notch!

I can not recommend this place high enough. We had an extremely bad experience at another location and quite literally lost all faith in dog boarding places. Even after we left our girls at Dog on Fun I was literally crying worried about my girls because of our bad experience from another place. Our girls had.an amazing time at Dig on Fun. Even now, when we say "Doggy Vacation " the girls get excited because they know where they're going. Thank you so much Dog on Fun, we love you and our girls love you too.

Short story: Ian Ford helped me gently train my dog not to pull with a herm sprenger prong collar, which helped my dogs anxiety, for way less money and time than anyone else I could find. Ian was kind, flexible, knowledgeable, helpful, affordable, and a great communicator. I can't say enough good things about him. Long Story: My 80 pound lab is an older dog, and we really only just started going on walks because my husband and I are not working from home anymore. His anxiety went off the rails and walks were helping, but he was pulling so hard I was afraid he would pull me down and I'd get hurt. No matter what I tried it was getting worse and my dog was clearly growing to hate his harness. I talked with a few trainers and they all wanted $100+/hour, and said it would take 10+ hours and a very strict routine to get the walks down and deal with the anxiety. I don't know what their plan was but I didn't have a thousand dollars so I wasn't going to find out. When a friend connected me with Ian, he was way less expensive, and said we would make good progress in the first meeting at his location in Dog On Fun. ***AND WE DID!!*** He taught me how to use a sprenger prong collar. Ian taught me first that it's a **communication tool** and communication was what my dog and I needed. It was 1,000% better after just that first meeting. Not perfect - but I seriously felt a weight lift from my shoulders as I was driving home. And it gets better. Ian stayed in touch with me, and answered my follow up questions as I was using what he taught me. I could tell he wanted to be sure I really understood, and I felt he was invested in my success. We had one more meeting/training in person - where he came to me. He gave me one more tool to work with, and clarified the last few things I was doing that confused my dog and what I should do instead. (He trained me too I guess - lol) My dog and I are happy and chill friends again. It's so much better! I'm still training - and my pup isn't perfect after 2 trainings and about 10 walks, but it is an entirely different and better experience than it was. The strategies are working now where before it was just getting worse. My dog likes putting on those prongs because it means were going to have fun together. Ian has been a real blessing to me and my family and I can't recommend him enough. If you need help with dog training - basic obedience or tricks - I would recommend no one else.
