In my opinion, this is one of the best thrift stores around. There is so much good stuff. The clothing aisles are jam packed with merchandise and always full of shoppers. My daughter has found several items that are only available at anime conventions or on line only shops as well as a few brand new LoungeFly mini backpacks and rare manga's. She has also been able to shop here for her cosplay costumes. I, on the other hand, am addicted to Starbucks coffee mugs and can always find something new to add to my collection. This is a good place to find Christmas decor at very low prices. Each day they have color coded discounts, and it seems Wednesdays are the best day with some discounts up to 75% off. Yes some things are a bit overpriced, which is why when I find something I'm not too sure about I always price compare with the Google search. The check out line can get long, but the line goes pretty quickly and the busy days there's a full crew at the check out counter. The workers I've come into contact with, are always very nice.

If you don't mind paying for overpriced used clothing, this is your place! New Unto Others in Glendora have much better prices.

I don’t know what is up with the employees, the cashiers seem to always be in a bad mood. I’ve came here a few times and every single time the cashier has been rude, it’s overpriced and not a very hospitable environment. There’s better thrift stores out there, and most of them have employees that don’t have a stick shoved up their behinds

Very clean. Great values. Service is great selection of clothing is wide. The deals can be better but it's a theft store, you'll be paying less already.

Parking is bad. There are a couple of guys that think they run the t-shirt area. Very aggressive and follows the workers around. My boyfriend and I watch them in action . Wondering what was going on . Sometimes they run to the racks. It's a joke! They really should be kicked out . My boyfriend can never get any shirts because of this.

I tried to give this place a chance. It is just so trashy and depressing. It is dark, stinky and cramped- the employees have the most unwelcoming, perpetually scowly faces. Like deranged clowns. They openly sell COUNTERFEIT bags which is truly reprehensible. Slave labor and nefarious activity is involved in the counterfeiting world. Not to mention toxic chemicals. To those giddy with their thrift finds- I’m betting you paid a premium for a fake. Clothing and accessories are art forms but our society is just so cheap nobody takes pride in the experience of acquiring goods anymore- albeit quality items- and this is reflected in the behavior of others. Work hard and buy quality items from reputable retailers and sellers. Deals are bountiful. Sifting through junk is not dignified. What is the true cost of your bargain? If you are buying more than what you truly need even at thrift stores, you are still over-consuming. If the item is of poor quality it will inevitably end up in a landfill. The very real environmental issue of textile waste is something that greedy corporations need to resolve within themselves, but they won’t, because people are addicted to cheap goods. They overproduce junk then dump it off at thrift stores for a tax write-off. These places are intended for those who cannot afford better- not for resellers to drive up the cost of items. That said, there are superior thrift stores where the proceeds actually go to charity and the store has an atmosphere conducive to browsing. So many stores can’t seem to combine compelling inventory, value and a pleasant experience- which is why online shopping has reigned supreme for some time now.

"I recently discovered the community thrift store in Covina, and it's a gem! A friend brought me here, and I'm a newbie, but I'm hooked. The prices are super reasonable, and the variety is fantastic. Honestly, I haven't found a thrift store as good as this one. It's a great place to explore!"

Love this place! I drive 30min to come here. Always find something I love and staple pieces for my closet. Who cares about 'resellers' just mind your business and shop lol they are always restocking and if you look thoroughly you will find pieces you love! There's always lots of cashiers working so the line goes pretty fast. They have a good amount of baby/kid's clothes and books too. The main parking in front gets pretty full, but if you don't feel like looking and waiting just drive to the back and there's always parking there. They also have restrooms!

Make sure you go early, parking is bad. One thing I disliked was if an item has no tag you can't purchase it once at the register. Like come on it's a damn thrift store, really? I guess if I worked here If probably still make some kind of money off of it.

This store is overcrowded and OVERPRICED. I've been shopping here for years because the prices were low and helpful to low income families. However due to the trend of vintage wear, I've noticed prices increase significantly. I'm disappointed because thrift shops were for the purpose of supporting those in the community that were faced with financial struggles. This place allowed me to afford school accessories, clothes, and lots more for a very reasonable price. This is not the case anymore, driving into this place is hectic with traffic, also sometimes the line goes towards the side of the store just to purchase your items. Yes, there are very kind and professional ladies working there, but the prices are insane. Sometimes they cost more than buying it new. I suggest if you go there, you keep this in mind, be patient and try to take what catches your eye. If you don't grab it someone else will. Towards the end you could put the things you are not buying. Pros: big selection of sizes and brands. Baby toys are decently priced. Staff is helpful ( but stay away from the workers when they are hanging clothes) Good variety of electronics. Clothes looks new or gently worn. Lots of heels. Variety of jackets and coats. Cons: Busy!!! Crowded Overpriced Lots of sheen products or generic brands. Shoes are a hit or miss. Men's department is a competition for resellers. I've never seen anyone get aggressive but there's a lot of hovering. No price tag then you will be out of luck. I do not shop here anymore, my kids are grown and this store is bumping it's prices quite too often. Hopefully they pay there employees fairly. The manager is pretty nice too.

My first time here and it is overwhelming! There is so much great stuff and I didn't even get through a quarter of it. The prices are fabulous if you buy the right colors. Unfortunately everything I found was not discounted in store but way below retail. I got a cashmere sweater for $7.99 as well as fine combed wool sweater for $7.99. Definitely returning.

This is the best thrift store I've ever been too! I visit about every other week and NEVER leave emptyhanded. There is a huge selection of items, with the main store housing clothing, bags, jewelry, books, toys, trinkets, collectibles, and large furniture. There are two smaller stores on the side as well. One has electronics, sports equipment, and smaller furniture and the other has super discounted clearance clothing. Prices have gone up a little since Covid, but it is still fair and cheaper than Goodwill or buying new. Items are priced individually. Nicer & designer items can be priced higher, but most things range $1-8. The only annoyance is that they have recently changed the colors of the tags, some of which are very similar, making it hard to identify the color and therefore the price. There are individual men and women bathrooms with single stalls and a key. They're not the nicest, but they are usually clean. If you have big bags and backpacks you may be asked to put them in your car or behind the counter. There' is a security guard up front too.

Large store with a lot of items however unless you know who pay it's hard to find something great. I have seen resellers give money to employees and heard them ask employees if their pre-picks are in the cart as they roll out.
