This store sucks, it's honestly 1 of the worst and emptiest grocery stores I've ever been to. Hardly anyone was there shopping, I passed thru every single aisle saw every single item and everything was either overpriced or gmo foods that are banned in other countries. Also the customer service from the bakery department was real bad, the old lady had an attitude problem and didn't want to do her job, safe to say I'm never stepping in here again. The baja ranch in Monrovia is far better and has ceviche.

I have only visited Baja Ranch Market at this location a handful of times but unfortunately my most recent visit 5 days ago may be my last, I had an uncomfortable experience. The cashier, Patricia, seemed judgmental, giving me disapproving looks for wearing a Pro America tshirt. When she handed my wife the receipt, she looked away and extended her hand for us to reach for it, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. Disappointing customer interaction.

I like to rotate where I buy my weekly groceries. If I shop exclusively at one market, I end up buying the same thing over and over. It can become rather boring. I keep Baja Ranch as one of my go-to places. I can buy items here that are not available at other markets. For example, their bakery and hot deli foods are very good and made on the premises daily. We like the pan dulce, meat empanadas, aqua fresca, whole rotisserie chicken, tacos, burritos or enchiladas made as you wait. Buy individual servings or a tray with rice, beans or salad. The fresh meats from the butcher can be marinated or seasoned if you wish. I spotted some unusual items that must be popular to others, but I walk pass (rather quickly) when I see the pig ears or snout in the glass case! The dairy section and produce department is very clean and well stocked. The liquor section has a small selection, but you can find a good enough supply of beer, wine or hard liquor. You can stop here for breakfast, lunch or dinner and grab a few grocery items while you're airway here, save yourself a trip to store for the essentials. Switch it up, bring home something different this week. Don't forget to tell 'em Rosemary sent ya!!

So my mom works here and all I can say is screw this store the employees treat her so horribly make her do everything she works at the cheese section and her employees that are also work there barely do any of the work they don't even do the easiest things they wait till my mom gets there or when she doesn't go to work for a family emergency they never get a replacement. I have brothers who are in middle school and elementary they both get out around 2:30-2:40 so my mom goes for a break so she can go pick them up and drop them off. Earlier today my mom tells my step dad that she got a warning for not coming to work as I said she didn't go to work because of a family emergency she had to stay home because I have another brother who is 8 months and is taken care by his grandmother when my mom goes to work, two day's ago his grandmother got sick so she wasn't able to take care of him and we didn't have any other family members to help because they live in another city nor could I because I have school. For working mothers you put your children before work correct? So that's what my mom did she didn't go to work so she could take care of the baby. The reason why my mom got the warning was because she goes on break to go pick up my brothers and taking care of the baby! Mind you she's been working at this market for about 5 years and this is the first time that her employees are having a problem about her picking up her kids during her break. I know some of you might be thinking why hasn't she quit I also don't know I believe is that so she can provide for us. But I really don't like her suffering but one day she will have a miracle we're she finds a better job.
