I cannot recommend this venue enough! We celebrated our wedding here in September of 2024 and thanks to Angela and her team, the day went on without a hitch. Not only is the space itself just so stunning and charming, you get access to a decor room and so many beautiful photo opportunities across the grounds. It is extremely hard to find an affordable wedding venue with a guest count of 200 but by allowing us to bring in outside catering and alcohol we were able to have our dream wedding at a gorgeous venue for a fraction of the cost elsewhere! There are no hidden fees, you get so many rooms to work with and get ready in the day of, and I got to bring in all of our supplies prior to the wedding which relieved SO much stress. We used their bartenders and they were so fun and people were raving about the drinks all night. Angela worked with me every step of the way and we booked her as our day of coordinator and it was the best decision we could have made! You can tell she is so passionate about what she does and truly cares about her customers and wants them to have the most special day. She seriously thought of everything and worked so hard to make our vision come to life. I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing that day because her and her team would have it handled. They were so accommodating and kind and handled our somewhat rowdy crowd with grace and we really had the best time. All of our guests could not stop raving about this place. Do yourself a favor and book this venue and be sure to count your blessings when it comes to working with Angela!

THEY DOUBLE BOOKED US! Only to let us know over 3 MONTHS LATER!
Within those 3 months we had all of our vendors booked with non refundable deposits, as well as the "Save the Date" cards we sent out to all of our guests to this venue. After 3 months of heavy planning, the manager, Angela, simply let us know via email that Coto Valley Country Club was breaching our contract because they had double booked us.
To mitigate the situation, we demanded that they would find us a replacement venue, but they decided to relinquish responsibility because they gave us our deposit back. DAMAGE ALREADY DONE! Putting aside all the lost time, we were scrambling to find the leftover venues that would still have our wedding date open. Even worse, finding a new venue that would fit with our already booked vendors cost us significantly more money.
Long story short, we sent them a settlement letter written by our lawyer to pay for our financial damages but they ignored it. We had no other choice but to take it to small claims court to get justice.

Coto Valley Country Country Club did offer to move the date a day before, but, with all of the vendors booked and paid non refundable deposits, time taken off of work, and save the dates sent where family and friends already booked flights and hotels, this was not an option. Additionally, trust had been broken - why would we trust them to honor a new date after double booking our original date? To be clear, Coto Valley Country Club never told us what the two other venues were. To say they gave us 6 months left is an overstatement given that anyone in their right mind would know 6 months is not a lot of time for a wedding. We didn’t “choose” to find a different venue, we were forced to due to a breach in contract and time running out. CCVC paid an additional $4,000 by court order because they would not settle when it was offered to them. Planning a wedding is stressful, and I’d hate for anyone else to go through such a nightmare.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with Coto Valley Country Club regarding their failure to honor our wedding booking. Despite having a confirmed reservation and having paid a substantial deposit, my special day was ruined due to the venue's double booking error.
The news of the cancellation was delivered to me more than three months after I signed the contract with little to no empathy or consideration for the emotional distress this caused. It was a devastating blow to my fiancé and I, as we had spent months planning and dreaming of our wedding day. The stress and chaos of having to find a new venue on such short notice were overwhelming.
Furthermore, the lack of transparency and accountability from Coto Valley Country Club has been disheartening. While I understand that mistakes can happen, the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. The venue should have taken full responsibility for their error and made every effort to rectify the situation.
I would strongly advise anyone considering Coto Valley Country Club for their wedding to proceed with extreme caution. Their lack of reliability and professionalism has left me and my fiancé with a lasting negative impression.
Amendment in response to the owner:

For anyone wanting more information before booking their event, don’t hesitate to reach out. I know how stressful planning a wedding is, and I’d hate for anyone else to go through such a nightmare.

I was the best man at my brothers wedding. My whole family spent time going out of our way to visit and plan at this venue. It really hurt me to see my brother in distress when he found out that Coto Valley Country Club had canceled his event due to a double booking.

As a wedding photographer and videographer I love the unique country charm this venue has to offer. Such a beautiful outdoor gazebo ceremony space adjacent to lush green landscaping complete with ponies, white fencing and green hedges that add to the natural beauty of the landscape. Inside you also have spacious rooms for both bride and groom prep with plenty of entertainment for the groomsmen including pool and foosball tables for the guys. The reception room is large and has a beautiful barn door backdrop for the couples table and plenty of room for guest tables and dancing. And Angela is a pleasure to work with and the couples really love her. It really is a hidden gem in South Orange county for those that want to add a touch of country appeal to their wedding day.

Went to my first ever high school prom here with a girl I met sophomore year. I love her like a sister and I’ll never forget the amazing time we had here, if I ever get married I’ll definitely make sure it’s here

My husband and I got married at Coto Valley Country Club earlier this month and it was the PERFECT venue for us. Angela, their venue coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with and deserves the highest recognition.
CVCC is a BYO- everything wedding venue. They provide the venue, chairs and tables and couples bring the rest. The flexibility is nice because you get to customize everything. Angela provided us with vendor recommendations along the way (we received so many compliments on our bartenders and DJ), as well as answered many of my questions leading up to the big day. She went above and beyond for us to make sure we weren’t stressed and that everything would come together perfectly.
The venue itself is beautiful, especially in the fall. We really liked how the boys had their separate wing of the venue for getting ready while the girls had the other side. It’s also nice that the ceremony site, cocktail hour and reception area is only steps away from each other.
TL DR; book CVCC for your wedding, you won’t regret it!

What an absolute gem. Between the dreamy garden settings, the breadth of spaces you have to use, the freedom to choose your vendors, and the incredible staff this is truly an exceptional wedding venue. We needed a space with good indoor outdoor flow that would provide a full rain option if needed (given our guest count) and this more than fit the bill. And the best possible bonus - Angela!!! She manages the venue and can be booked as your day-of coordinator (which I HIGHLY recommend). Her calm presence, positive demeanor, and mastery of events in her space truly set our day apart. It was truly a dream come true to find such a perfect location to make our own. If you want to really customize your vision for a reasonable price and just have FUN on your wedding day book them now!!!

My husband and I recently got married here and couldn't of had a better experience. Angela was amazing to work with. Very helpful, friendly, and efficient. The vendors she recommended were also amazing. I highly suggest going with Marcus for your bartender and Luis for setup/cleanup. They all work so well together and are a pleasure to be around.

I don't know where to begin to express our thankfulness and gratitude to Angela. There is a reason she is named Angela, because she is an angel! She was always so helpful and accommodating with everything.The venue was so beautiful and almost all of the vendors recommended were excellent. We were especially pleased with Marcus, our bartender, his assistant, and Country Garden Caterers were the best!We were so happy with our decision, after all is said and done. I have been a wedding coordinator at a church for over 25 years, so I know how stressful weddings can be. I am so impressed with Angela and we were so thrilled with our decision to have our daughter's wedding here. We had an amazing wedding and could not have been more elated with everything.Thank you again, Angela!
