“Such a wonderful resource for artists and crafts persons using, fabrics, trims of all types, tools, machines, buttons, beads, yarns, laces, craft books just to name a few. A donation site for crafts people wishing to support a great cause and clean up their work space and for crafts people looking for bargain project supplies.”
“Best Rare Item Shop in town. Great selection of Tools!, Audio/Video Equipment, Vintage and New video games and equipment, Hard to find Cables and DC Power supplies, Surplus hobby Electronics, vinyl records, album posters and rare vintage collectable items. Every time I go to this store i have to spend nearly an hour walking around looking at everything trying to find hidden gems amongst all the gems this store has to offer. Stores like this are hard to come by. I've found rare wrenches / tool boxes and camera lenses, as well as many stereo amplifiers and speaker setups for friends over the years. Never once have i gotten a bad piece of equipment from this store and the owner always assures me if i have any issue to just bring it back and we will work it out. Never once have I had to take him up on his generous offer.”

1701 Piner Rd # A, Santa Rosa“Quality items and most things are reasonably priced. Bonus, they put money towards a good cause. Some pricing has gotten a little out of hand, but you can still find deals.”

9550 Main St, Penngrove“Great service and the owners are so kind and helpful. I have found a fave pair of boots, a few dresses that were in great shape and fit perfectly! They have a wide selection of items, something for everyone. I even picked up some puzzles and toys for my classroom. Definitely one of my fave thrift stores in the north bay.”
“We recently donated several pieces of furniture. We were delighted with all aspects of the process. Everyone involved was communicative, polite, and helpful. We were very appreciative of the pick up service. Thank you for the ability to give this furniture a second life.”

884 Bodega Ave #1, Petaluma“Went to this super awesome little shop a few days ago it’s so cool in there and has some good finds! Very nice and helpful owner! Gave me directions to another store with more items I was in search for!”
“This is by far Petaluma's best thrift store, and for a noble cause. Christmastime is amazing! Get there as soon as they hit the floor. I've purchase some of my favorite clothes there!”
10AM - 4PM
748 Gravenstein Hwy N, Sebastopol“Great service, friendly staff, and they have a wide variety of products. I find it offensive that someone would be offended at something that was sold in another era, when people were not offended of making fun of each other. If you don't like something don't buy it. Those type of items are collectible by the way, and depict a historical time that we should not forget, and learn from.”
“Really great example of up-cycling, in such a throw away society it's great to see shops like this helping the community re-use perfectly good items and at ridiculously low prices. If you like thrifting, this place has everything from clothes, jewelry, furniture to multiple audio/video formats including a healthy stash of vinyl. Vintage magazines, posters, t-shirts, a veritable collector's dream, you just have to browse. Bonus amount of jeans and audio electronics that actually work. Worth the visit!”
“I like this little place. Yes, the hours are limited, probably because of volunteer staff, and it is small, but they've reorganized the shop to maximize the space, and it's well laid out. I always find a little something here, and the staff is pleasant.”
“A bit out of the way, but worth the trip for anyone who likes to thrift shop. It is well organized and the volunteers are especially friendly. Prices are fair if you are buying for yourself, no real steals if you are buying and reselling for profit. Nice selection of dishes and clothes and an occasional vintage find.”
“Jen the owner is very friendly. This shop has a lot of affordable prices and good quality. She has Hermes Picotin rare color I like, it's very hard to find. I highly recommend to support local business. You won't be disappointed.”
“What a charming thrift store with a friendly and kind staff. The prices are reasonable. The clothes are in excellent condition but a lot is not my style. BUT! They have like new business attire and for evenings out with friends! All proceeds are donated! The jewelry is fab! Books perfectly priced”
“Everyone has to realize the women working here- are volunteering their time and energy to be there. They are not getting paid. The proceed go to scholarship funds. The store has some cute items, but just like any thrift store, you'll have to browse for everything. It smells a like old dusty times & clothes because (gasp!) they are! Everything has been donated. The workers aren't going to go and wash the clothes again. So let's please show these hardworking volunteers some grace. The volunteers are all very sweet and cute. They are friendly and try their best to help. The store has been reorganized and separated to clothing, household goods, etc. Whenever I'm in town, I like to browse and usually find something good.”
“I really like this store. It's large and well organized. The staff especially the longer term employees and the managers are friendly and very fair. Always enjoy searching for unique items here.”

3209 Cleveland Ave, Santa Rosa“From what I saw, the prices were really good and I saw a lot of cute clothes - definitely one of my favorite thrift stores. Some of the staff is really kind and helpful but the cashier lady was rude to me when I went.”
“Alphabet Soup Thrift Shop is a non profit thrift store owned by Petaluma Education Foundation. This is the second store this organization was able to open. Their first location is a couple stores down on the same block. This is one is Alphabet Soup at Home. They specialize in more home goods and houseware like furniture and books. It was actually their original location before they opened up a second thrift store dedicated to just clothes and accessories.Other than the nice employees that work there the funds made at these businesses go to the foundation as it has been serving 13,000 students every year which include scholarships. You can also volunteer for these thrift stores and work as a cashier or merchandiser! At the clothes store in particular I had come in with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the layout. It wasn’t too crowded and all the sections were obvious which made it easy to navigate. They put paper signs and printed bold letters on the front of each rack to describe the section of clothing. They also have a very nice designated children’s section with toys, books and clothes. They had a very nice shoe selection, but expensive for a thrift store. The crowd of people that were in here the most were women and a lot of youths and young adults. This shop is located on Western Avenue in Petaluma right next to the Petaluma Market and St. Vincent De Paul Church. There is street parking. They accept cash and card as well as contactless payment. They are open seven days a week 10am-5pm.To the beautiful people of Sonoma county and visitors abroad, I didn’t have a bad experience here. It was a clean store with nice clothes. It was a little more on the expensive side for a thrift store, but they have great items and sometimes vintage treasures.”
“Non-profit Flipside Thrift is a true Rohnert Park gem.
Picked up a bookcase, chairs, tables, classic wall art, & kitchen gear.
Flipside Thrift furnished my luxury apartment.
Thank You.”
“We were in the area and came here. There's plenty of parking. It's very organized and clean. I noticed they had a lot of clothes all very clean. They had a great book section. Most book were pretty new and these are books you can find at target within the last year. They were priced very reasonable. Hardcover $2 and paper backs $1. The lady who rang us up was very pleasant. Overall we had a good experience.”
“A great experience. My daughter and I went there from Eureka, California. We had never bin to the bins. We had no bags with us. She carried all these clothes over her shoulder to the truck. It was hilarious. Thank you for the fun time. We will be back again.”
“Redwood Gospel has been a great help to us when it comes to food and clothing when we were low on funds. Now they have gone an extra mile and helped us into a new place by also donating furniture. They were all very nice and helpful people that love to help others.”

1821 Piner Rd Suite A, Santa Rosa“I found out about this place on my Nextdoor app. I normally take my donations to the Goodwill but the last time they wouldn't take several items ( like new cookbooks, brand new garden drip hose, plastic sealable bowls, etc). So I gave this place a call and within a couple of days they came to my home to PICK UP EVERYTHING. They Just asked to have the items in boxes that are closed so they can be stacked. I heard later about the good things they do for their employees. I'll have to pay a visit to their store.”
“I'm addicted to thrifting and this place is on my rotation. The prices and selection aren't always the greatest but it's about treasure hunting so be patient and you may luck out.”
“SVdP Sonoma Thrift on Redwood Drive is nice & is their district headquarters.
Picked up a used wooden bed frame, & they sell new mattress & box springs too.
Sorta crazy in back with donations & pick up going on at the same time.”
“The employee who helped me drop off a donation was friendly and helpful and the process was very easy. Note that there are several items they don’t accept (see pic), including some items not listed like curtain rods”

I went to this store and purchased a big bag of towels at a very reasonable price. They saved the day! After the Tubbs fire of 2017, this store helped many people to get their household back to a functional state. The community won’t forget this generosity.”
