Thank you so very much to Officer Ryan Sullivan for helping us with Adam Loughman on Tuesday night. He is wonderful to ease my mind with a phone call letting me know that Adam had been located.

Very supportive and care about the community. I had a incident almost a decade ago and was a little scared to have to call them. To my suprise the officer was outstanding in taking care of me and my crisis. Truly greatful for their services.

been a resident of the cotati/rohnert park area for close to 40 years. in that time I've had good experiences with LE from both cities. working in downtown, I've gotten to know some of the cops who work the early mornings, and they're always really friendly. when we need them at the store, they show up really quick and make sure everything is okay. because of that, we've tried our best to help them out when there's issues with stolen cards and whatnot. all in all, I can say that so far, in close to 40 years, I've never had a bad experience with cotati's finest. I only wish they'd do traffic enforcement more often on old red.

I saw a college-aged girl get "cat-called" (whistled & 'hey baby')by a group of undercover male cops dressed in street clothes. One of the cops had his badge tucked into his shirt which is illegal. Her two friends were choked and manhandled. The girl did not turn around so she did not know they were cops and yelled back at them saying "I have a boyfriend". The cops got angry and grabbed her friends by the neck and arm because they were behind her since she started fast walking after being cat-called. The girl turned around and screamed at them to let go of her friends and said she would report them. The cops laughed. Later on in the night I walked up to those officers and asked their names. Only two of the 8 or so officers answered, Alex Hartley and Detective Keff. I have no faith in the legal system and this is one reason why. I can't even imagine what would've happened if the girls were not white, probably would have been sexually assaulted. On Thursday nights Sonoma State Students attend the Cotati Crawl which is essentially a night of going to the bars where this incident took place. Disgusting. Unlawful. Degrading. Abuse of power.

Today I took my nanny child to get a sandwich. There we met the most wonderful police woman. I'll leave her name off of this post in case she doesn't want it posted. She was so patient and kind. She took the time out of her day to answer nanny child's 10,000 questions. She was informative and solidified his dreams of becoming a police officer when he grows up. Thank you for keeping our community safe and making children feel valued.
