I really love this store, but some of the employees are really rude and lack of knowledge. They misrepresent the return and refund policy and make you feel like there are no such things as returns. I bought an espresso machine and there was a lady that helped me, she was very nice but there is this guy he has curly hair, middle aged, and wears glasses. He is extremely mean and has a terrible attitude, he kept telling me I cannot return the espresso machine if I don’t like it. That is not true their vendors take the machines and deal with it. If I am not satisfied with the machine, the common sense is to return it in the original condition. In my case, I was able return the espresso machine that I was not satisfied due to lack of performance and more reasons after I talked with their headquarters customer service and mentioned that to the employees there. Definitely needs significant improvements with employees attitudes, manners and knowledge with company’s rules and policies.

What a rude sales woman. Looking to buy new pots & pans. Was trying to just look. She wanted to help so I let her ask her questions, then she proceeded to tell me stay away from an entire name brand because of where it's made. Then she told me my needs eliminated most sets. What part of I'm looking is so hard. I might find something different than I thought I wanted if allowed to actually shop. Left immediately. Will find expensive pans somewhere else.

If you're not sure about something do not buy it here. They do NOT accept returns if item has been used in any capacity. I purchased something that I did not use as much as I planned and decided to return it to which they refused. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Title: Disappointing Credit Card Experience at Williams SonomaDO NOT GET THEIR CREDIT CARD OR SHOP HERE!I had a disheartening experience with Williams Sonoma’s credit card and their customer service. When I signed up, they promised a 10% credit, but it turned out to be a frustrating ordeal.I purchased a Jura Z10 from this store and signed up with their credit card to get 10% off from my purchase credit on the credit card for future purchases. The sales told me it need several months for the credit to show up. After 4 months, I still have not see the credit on my account. Despite visiting the store four times, speaking with the original salesperson, and even involving the store manager, the issue remained unresolved. The manager tried to pass the blame onto the credit card company, creating unnecessary confusion.I went the extra mile by calling the credit card company in the store, hoping for a resolution, but unfortunately, the problem persisted. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of accountability and efficiency in handling customer concerns.I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before signing up for Williams Sonoma’s credit card and reconsider shopping there. In my experience, Crate and Barrel not only offers a similar deal but also boasts superior customer service. Save yourself the hassle and opt for a more reliable option.

Store workers ignored and skipped us while we were in line. Cashier made face towards us and called the next lady over. Horrible service towards people of color.

DO NOT SHOPT AT THIS LOCATION. The old hags that run this place are most useless people I have yet to encounter. They huddle around the checkout counter looking like real housewives of orange county but even less intelligence. They are unable to process simple returns, and screw up your orders but tries to make up for it with phrases like “I don’t know what to do” “I don’t know how to make you happy” “this is most unfortunate”, but NEVER admits their mistakes and apologize. Accountability is a foreign concept for these hags. I spent, no exaggeration, 1 hour trying to make a simple exchange because the idiotic cow didn’t know how to operate a computer - it’s 2023!!!! Come on!! The store manager woman was even more unbelievable with her condescending, typical white Karen attitude. The only person who was able to do anything was the gay dude. All the chatty old women at the counter are useless, clueless, and just pointless. Worst shopping experience of 2023. NEVER SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU LOVE WASTING TIME AND MONEY.

Four or five employees in the store on a Monday - not at all busy - and yet no one could be bothered to ask if I needed help, etc. Wouldn't want to interrupt their conversation a few of them were having about whatever non-work topic was being deeply discussed....so off I went and after a little searching ALL around the store, I finally found it myself and headed for the cashwrap....only to be checked out by a very unfriendliest clerk, who acted like my mere presence was an annoyance and couldn't be bothered to even say thank you .I know retail can be frazzling and chaotic - I did it for over a decade. My expectations aren't very high, seriously, but feigning at least a teeny tiny bit of interest and not being openly hostile to the customer would be right up there, folks. Try harder.

The sales associates and their customer service at this location is dreadful! This one older lady showed a lack of enthusiasm and responded sarcastically that I had chosen well on my own. She didn't even make the effort to make other suggestions, and it was very obvious she lacked genuine care or interest. Also, the sales associates at the front room don't greet you which also explains the negative reviews regarding their customer service.

Wedding Registry…. No. Don’t do it.My wife is so disappointed. We happily opened our wedding registry with lots of friendly help at the store. The issue is that WS does not stock most of what they have at the store or items are discontinued. So the items selected on registry do not ship. They continue to be in shipping order on items discontinued. BUT get this… WS will not let you switch the items or get credit. They want you to contact the gifting person and ask them to cancel the order and order something else for us. Of course we will not do that. So those gifts… most of what we registered for, are LOST

I went in to the store wanting to buy some cookware and the women there would rather get paid to gossip than paid to work. They're very passive aggressive and shouldn't work in retail. Williams-Sonoma needs to higher younger, more helpful employees.When I finally received help not only was one of the old ladies rude but she took her sweet time to finish her gossip session while I waited for my items.

Love this store, hate the customer service. I went in for a gift for my moms birthday. The older woman in the front half of the store approached me while holding two glasses, and not in a friendly way. No smile and she said something along the lines of what are you doing. When I politely smiled and asked if she could hold the two espresso glasses for me up front so I don’t accidentally break them while looking around she said okay. However, when I turned to keep shopping I heard her say to her coworker very audibly, “ I might break them for you.” And they laughed. Extremely bizarre behavior! Additionally when she continued to help me and I didn’t realize some pieces were part of a set she appeared very irritable like I was wasting her time. If I go back I will ensure she doesn’t help me. I’ve seen her in there over the years and she is always off on her customer service.

Not the best experience shopping here. Was looking if they sell hand mixer. The sales staff first asked someone to look for it. When I indicated that I won't be buying it right away, then she said she can't help anymore as the inventory staff was on a break. It is hard to believe. It was Friday around 2pm, which is not the most busy time of the day but there are still quite shoppers in the store. I sense that the staff didn't want to bother as I won't be buying it right away
